Elsewhere, Chigusa Fried, the chief coordinator overseeing all of Domino City from the City Information Center,
was suddenly interrupted by an alarm.
His younger brother, Reinhardt von Schroeder, rushed into the office.
"Brother, an alarm went off on Sakura Street near Domino City's elite high school. Noah activated Level Two Defense. President Kaiba and the others may have encountered supernatural powers!"
"Yes, I know. Do we have clear surveillance footage from the area?"
"That's what I was about to tell you. President Kaiba and Yugi Muto are dueling a boy named Aigami together, but he..."
"What happened to him? Take your time."
"Phew..." Reinhardt took a deep breath and handed over his tablet. "Suddenly, golden light shone from his chest, and darkness engulfed him. When he emerged, he'd turned into a monster!"
By this point, his voice was trembling.
"Let me see." Taking the tablet, Chigusa immediately spotted the towering, square-faced monster.
His lips curled as he offered a contemptuous assessment. "How ugly. Not the slightest bit elegant."
"Don't worry." His gaze shifted to the side, where he spotted the figure he idolized, and he said calmly, "With His Majesty there, nothing is beyond resolving."
"Organize people to reassure the nearby residents. Start a livestream too, so everyone knows what's happening. Have our best host provide commentary and stir up their excitement."
"Understood. But how should we respond to the Nippon government?"
"Hmph. A bunch of rotten old fossils, still clinging to outdated ideas and trying to drive up their price at a time like this. How ridiculous." After that sneer, Chigusa added, "Ignore them. They won't be throwing their weight around much longer.
"Lord Tobirama-oh, no, there's no need to trouble him with something so trivial. What was that fellow's name again? Darwin?"
"His name is Erwin Smith, Brother."
