Seeing the clear liquid still dripping from them, Madara put them away with a look of disgust. He had no intention of putting them back in just yet.
"Hmph! My strength has diminished now. Shouldn't you show some sincerity as well?"
"Haha, of course, of course." Tetsuhiro scratched his head and grinned sheepishly. "Let's head back first and talk things over. We might even find another way to increase your strength."
"Really?" At the prospect of becoming stronger, Kaguya's attitude visibly improved.
"I swear on Hashirama Senju's honor that it's absolutely true!"
With that, they soon teleported back to the Shinobi World. Madara fetched some water, washed the eyes thoroughly, and promptly pressed them back into place.

Hatake Shinha flashed to his side. "Yes, sir!"
Shinha had barely left when someone else arrived with a report. "Your Excellency, Chancellor, His Majesty and Lord Hokage have returned. They also brought back a long-haired woman with an imposing presence."
"Oh?" Tobirama thought for a moment, connected the events, and roughly guessed what had happened.
"Come. Let's go take a look."
The Cabinet members immediately voiced their agreement.
After leaving the Cabinet, they had just reached the entrance to Taiji Palace when Tetsuhiro and his two companions descended from the sky.
Tetsuhiro introduced her to everyone. "This is the progenitor of chakra-Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. From now on, she'll be our empire's long-term partner."
"Greetings, Lady Kaguya!"
"Dispense with the formalities."
"Sarutobi Sasuke, find people to build her a palace. Follow her preferences for its design."

"Relax," Tetsuhiro replied calmly. "I'll simply close the portal if that happens. But you do have a point. This portal is random, and I don't know what enemies we'll encounter inside.
"Madara, first let those skilled in reconnaissance and interrogation..."
Madara waved a hand, cutting him off. "If even I can't defeat them, sending those people in would only get them killed. I'll just come back quickly if that happens."
Tobirama continued his analysis. "Even so, we need to establish a first defensive line. A barrier is essential too. In short, we can't charge in blindly!"
"What do the rest of you think?" Tetsuhiro turned and asked the others.
Sarutobi Sasuke said, "Both lords make valid points. I think a compromise would be best."
