After two or three days of recovery, Iris was mostly fine.
Or rather, there had been little reason to worry about her from the start... After awakening as a Psionic, she had beaten Beigong Ling and the others single-handedly. With her opponents too afraid to commit, Iris had suffered no real injuries.
Miss Beigong Ling's foolish actions had certainly caused the Alt Conglomerate some trouble... Fortunately, things had gradually returned to normal. Judging by the post-battle review, the outcome might even have done more good than harm.
There was little need to worry about Miss Iris's condition, and Jonas would visit her in her hospital room from time to time.
Perhaps thanks to her psionic energy, the girl's body recovered quickly. What was strange, however, was that her psionic energy level had dropped considerably since their first meeting.
