Although the process had been somewhat rocky, the end result had still achieved a balance between psionics and technology.
An had once told him to be extremely wary of these so-called successors to the Predecessor Civilization... and Beigong Ling had also revealed that she apparently wasn't the only one of her kind.
The attack at the Virtual Reality launch event had confirmed that.
That so-called Predecessor Civilization had already deemed him an enemy because of the incident with Beigong Ling... from here on, he would not only have to contend with forces from the Federation, but also guard against attacks from the "technology side."
