For Yushua, who knew how terrifying dreams could be, letting herself enter one completely unguarded was actually quite dangerous.
She knew very well how much power acting on the mind could affect a person. An ordinary dream would have been fine, but the man before her clearly possessed the ability to establish a consciousness link as well. That made caution unavoidable.
At that thought, Yushua fell silent again. After a long while, she nodded with some difficulty and said, "Mm... I'll consider what you said."
In a sense, those words amounted to tacit agreement. After a little thought, she ultimately decided to trust him.
The reason was simple. Judging by their previous encounter, his abilities with consciousness links surpassed hers. If he wanted to do something to her, there was clearly no need to trick her into dreaming.
After weighing everything up, Yushua ultimately decided to trust him-and the "sincerity" he had spoken of.
Seeing her agree, Jonas could not help smiling.
His assessment of her had been correct after all. As a "nun," Miss Yushua was a little too "pure." That did not merely mean she knew too little about physical matters. Even in her dealings with others, she had little inclination to keep her guard up.
Perhaps she was aware of the need, but she did not seem to consider it particularly important. That had allowed Jonas's conspiracy-er, scheme-to succeed.
Of course, he probably would not have called it a conspiracy himself. Jonas would most likely have shamelessly claimed that these were merely little tricks for bringing them closer together.
Judging by the outcome, their relationship had indeed improved, but the process was rather disgraceful.
"So what exactly do you need me to do?"
Yushua looked at Jonas and finally asked.
Surely he did not mean for her
