Endurance often meant prolonging the pain. Yushua pinned her hopes on the flimsy possibility that it should only happen once, right? That was clearly not very rational.
And things unfolded in precisely the opposite way she had hoped.
Not just on the first day, but on the second and third as well, Yushua suffered the same "torment."
The good news was that Yushua had rested well these past few days. At least she had fallen asleep peacefully.
The bad news was that every morning, she had to change her underwear, replace her sheets and duvet cover, and... endure the torment of her own shame.
