The girl woke after the morning sunlight streamed through the blinds.
Her whole body tingled, leaving her with little strength, and all she wanted to do was lie lazily on the sofa. Although she ached all over, her heart seemed filled with happiness.
Her delicate body had suffered no injuries. After all, it had been her first time, and Jonas had not pushed her too hard.
Iris poked her head out of the blanket and stole a glance at Jonas. He rubbed her head and said:
"Get some rest."
Although this was hardly a memory worth cherishing, her heart felt as though it had been filled with honey, so sweet that it left her head spinning.
"Mm..."
Iris nodded obediently, a few tears still clinging to her delicate lashes. Somewhat timidly, she asked:
"Could you come see me more often from now on, Mr. Jonas...?"
As soon as the words left her lips, she seemed to feel she had asked too much and hurriedly added:
"It doesn't have to be often. Just come see me whenever you have a little time."
At that, Jonas rubbed her head before saying:
"Yes, I will."
With his promise secured, the girl seemed to breathe a sigh of relief. Looking at his face, she broke into a silly smile.
After a night of **, the expensive sofa looked rather worse for wear.
Judging by its condition, it would probably have to be replaced again.
Jonas felt a little regretful. It was not that he begrudged the money for a new sofa, but this one was a memento, after all. Simply throwing it away seemed like something of a waste.
He looked at the crimson spots on the sofa, blooming like plum blossoms.
I'll cut that piece out later and keep it as a memento.
