Mr. Kogar's body was indeed rather difficult to dispose of. After all, whatever Jonas did, there was a risk that someone would use it against him.
So Mr. Jonas chose the quickest, most convenient solution... sending him back to the Wetting Conglomerate's headquarters.
This infuriated the members of the Wetting Conglomerate's board. None of them had expected Jonas to have such nerve.
Not only had he disobeyed their orders and killed their representative, he had even sent Kogar's body back afterward...
Jonas's uncharacteristic attitude was undoubtedly a resounding slap in the Wetting Conglomerate's face. Killing someone and then returning the body was a provocation by any measure. What the board could not understand, however, was what gave Jonas the nerve to do it.
Mister stared at the body before him, its head blown open by a single gunshot, and his expression turned extremely ugly.
If Jonas dared to blow Kogar's head open, that meant he would dare to do the same to him.
Looking at Kogar's body, the other board members could not help feeling that his fate might soon be theirs. Their fear of Jonas also made them want to eliminate him as soon as possible.
"He's completely out of control."
A middle-aged man in a blue suit spoke grimly as he looked at the body wrapped in black cloth. The other board members around him looked little better.
"We should strip Jonas of his authority as heir immediately and take back control of the Alt District."
"Murdering a board member is an outright act of contempt toward the Wetting Conglomerate. We must punish him severely!"
Listening to the disorderly clamor of the various members in the meeting room, Mister rubbed his brow and called out:
"Enough."
At his words, the meeting room fell silent.
Conflicting emotions darkened his
