"Weisheng Tou."
Mo Lu pressed his hand over Weisheng Tou's in resignation.
Didn't Weisheng Tou know how strongly his pheromones affected him, too?
"Young master."
Weisheng Tou immediately reined in his aura. He looked at Xie Chaoshen, who had suddenly gone into heat on the ground, his face filled with remorse.
"Young master, I'm sorry for the trouble. I thought they could withstand it... because they're also a top-tier Alpha and Omega..."
Then he immediately bowed to Xie Chaoshen and Xie Chaoheng.
"I'm sorry."
Mo Lu didn't blame Weisheng Tou. He merely told the trembling Xie Chaoheng,
"I'll have the Mo Family's shaman suppress Xie Chaoshen's heat. The guest rooms are over there. Take him there first."
Xie Chaoheng immediately scooped Xie Chaoshen up and ran in the direction Mo Lu had indicated.
A servant nearby had already noticed what was happening and hurried over.
"Go to Xiu Yuan Hall and bring Uncle Mo to the guest rooms here. Hurry."
Mo Lu gave the order calmly.
"Yes, young master."
The servant immediately ran off.
"Xiu Yuan Hall?" Weisheng Tou asked in confusion.
"Yes. The Mo Family's school."
Unless something unexpected happened, Uncle Mo would bring several Mo Family disciples along to teach them on-site how to use the Zhu You Technique to suppress an Omega's heat.
"Let's go. Didn't you want to see where I used to live?"
Mo Lu started walking first.
"Young master."
Weisheng Tou followed at his side, a delighted smile curling his lips as he watched their shadows overlap.
The ones in the way were finally gone.
Mo Lu glanced sideways and said coldly, "Rein in your pheromones."
Although his seal worked better than a blocking patch and lasted longer, it served the same purpose: it could only block the unconscious release of pheromones.
In cases like the one just now, when Weisheng Tou had deliberately used his superior pheromones to overpower others, his seal wouldn't work.
Nor could it stop Weisheng Tou from acting "in heat" beside him now.
"Young master, did I look like a proper bodyguard just now?"
Weisheng Tou leaned down slightly, his bright black eyes shining like stars as he looked expectantly at Mo Lu.
But there wasn't a flicker of emotion in Mo Lu's eyes. He simply said coldly, "If there's a next time, go receive your punishment yourself."
Not only did Weisheng Tou show no panic, but there was an excitement in his voice that he could barely conceal.
"Could you punish me personally, young master?"
Mo Lu's heart trembled at those words.
He took a deep breath and said, "Weisheng Tou, don't fool around in front of me, or you can go back to your Weisheng Family."
"Young master, I'm sorry. I was wrong."
Weisheng Tou raked his fingers through his tousled hair, his hoarse voice sounding rather pitiful.
"But I have nowhere else to go except by your side..."
Hearing that, Mo Lu felt irritation rise within him.
No one had ever spoken to him like this. Apart from his grandfather, everyone treated him with the utmost respect.
Yet Weisheng Tou was like a stray puppy, outwardly cautious as he leaned against him and wagged his tail, while in reality he often crossed the line with outrageous boldness.
Mo Lu knew perfectly well that this "stray dog" was a wolf by blood-and he ought to have been the leader of the pack.
But the trouble was, he actually did feel a little sorry for Weisheng Tou.
He had been locked in a cage because of the Mo Family's Curse Technique since he was thirteen, and had remained there until he met Mo Lu at twenty-one.
Whatever the reason for placing that curse on him, the Mo Family had ultimately been responsible for Weisheng Tou's suffering.
The more Mo Lu thought about it, the more irritated he became. He turned and headed straight out of the Mo Family estate.
"Young master?"
Weisheng Tou followed behind Mo Lu.
"We're going back to Lan Mountain Residence," Mo Lu said coldly.
Weisheng Tou froze where he stood for a moment.
