Rose Liquor pheromones instantly bore down on Ye Liang.
Before Ye Liang could react, Weisheng Tou slammed a vicious punch at him, his killing intent driving toward Ye Liang like a sharp blade.
Ye Liang immediately crossed his arms in front of himself to block.
With a dull thud, Ye Liang staggered back two steps.
After taking Weisheng Tou's punch head-on, his arms went completely numb. Only after a moment did bone-deep, agonizing pain set in.
But Weisheng Tou gave Ye Liang no chance to catch his breath, raising his leg to kick him hard.
Ignoring his injuries, Ye Liang charged forward and traded blows with Weisheng Tou.
With the boosts from the Enhancement Agent and Healing Talisman, he could now fully withstand Weisheng Tou's pheromones, and his senses had grown sharper.
Besides, Weisheng Tou still couldn't move his right arm.
There was no way he couldn't beat Weisheng Tou!
Ye Liang's gaze grew increasingly vicious.
A servant inside the Lan Mountain Residence immediately noticed what was happening outside.
When he saw that both men were familiar faces, he froze in shock.
Should he tell the young master?
The young master had already thrown them both out and specifically instructed the servants to pretend not to see them if they appeared, or simply drive them away.
They were not allowed inside the Lan Mountain Residence.
But this hardly counted as simply "seeing them"!
The servant stood there, at a loss.
Weisheng Tou's attacks grew increasingly savage.
Only then did Ye Liang realize how naive he had been.
He had thought that gaining the upper hand with his pheromones would let him kill Weisheng Tou, but he found he couldn't hold him off at all!
The man made not a single wasted movement. Every strike targeted a vital spot.
He even kicked at Ye Liang's groin without hesitation.
Whatever would kill him, he did.
He even completely disregarded Ye Liang's attacks.
Ye Liang landed several heavy blows on the wound in Weisheng Tou's right arm, yet his movements never faltered.
Ye Liang even wondered whether Weisheng Tou could feel pain at all.
"You dare let your mind wander while fighting me?"
Weisheng Tou sneered.
He couldn't care less about the pheromones. If he needed pheromones just to deal with Ye Liang, he might as well kill himself.
Ye Liang didn't answer Weisheng Tou.
His eyes turned cold and sinister as he reached straight for the jade pendant on Weisheng Tou's chest.
Weisheng Tou always wore that jade pendant. It had to be important to him.
As Weisheng Tou watched Ye Liang's hand reach for the pendant, the thread in his mind called "reason" snapped.
He seized Ye Liang's wrist and wrenched it, bending it sharply backward.
Ye Liang cried out in pain.
Weisheng Tou's low, hoarse voice sounded like an echo rising from the abyss:
"Ye. Liang. You really are tired of living."
His right hand rose, heading straight for Ye Liang's throat.
Ye Liang hadn't expected Weisheng Tou to still be able to use his right hand. Caught off guard, he was seized by the neck.
Weisheng Tou lifted Ye Liang clean off the ground.
Ye Liang clutched Weisheng Tou's right hand, his face turning purple-red as his eyes filled with horror.
Why?
Why could Weisheng Tou still move his right arm?
Why did he still have so much strength?!
"Curious?"
Weisheng Tou tilted his head, his eyes gradually flooding with brilliant gold.
Ye Liang panicked at once.
Golden eyes.
That color only appeared when Weisheng Tou went mad!
He had never seen such pure gold in the eyes of any high-ranking Alpha!
So pure they looked like a beast's!
"L-let me go."
Choking, Ye Liang opened his mouth like a dying fish, trying to breathe.
"Let you go?"
The corners of Weisheng Tou's eyes reddened, brimming with icy, bloodthirsty violence.
He laughed mockingly, unleashing the full oppressive force of a Super S-Rank Alpha on Ye Liang.
In an instant, Ye Liang felt as though he had been cast into the deep sea, surrounded by surging currents crushing his internal organs.
The moment the servant inside the Lan Mountain Residence saw things take a turn for the worse, he ran to the mountain behind the residence to find Mo Lu.
This was no longer something he could decide on his own.
Someone was going to die!
"Young master! Young master!"
The servant ran all the way to the raised platform on the mountain.
"What is it?"
Mo Lu was cultivating.
"Young master, Weisheng Tou and Ye Liang are fighting outside the Lan Mountain Residence."
The servant immediately dropped to his knees as he spoke.
Mo Lu rose at once upon hearing this.
He strode down the mountain, unable to suppress his growing agitation.
Weisheng Tou's arm hadn't healed yet. Why was he fighting again?!
Was he some kind of caveman?!
Was fighting the only way he knew to solve problems?
Outside the Lan Mountain Residence.
Driven by his desperate will to survive, Ye Liang kicked viciously at Weisheng Tou under that stormlike oppressive force.
But in an instant, Weisheng Tou slammed Ye Liang into the ground, sending his kick off course.
Ye Liang felt the world spin, followed by a sharp pain in the back of his head.
He lunged out a hand at Weisheng Tou, struggling desperately.
But instead of catching Weisheng Tou, he caught something long and narrow.
Ye Liang yanked hard-
A large hole tore open in Weisheng Tou's left ear.
Blood filled Ye Liang's mouth as he laughed. "Hahaha, Weisheng Tou! The young master gave you this, didn't he?"
As he spoke, he flung the obsidian earring hard into the woods behind them.
Watching Ye Liang's actions, Weisheng Tou radiated an increasingly vicious, sinister aura.
"Letting you die just like that would be too easy, Ye Liang."
His low, icy voice sounded beside Ye Liang's ear.
The dark clouds pressed lower and lower, and the sky grew increasingly gloomy.
As Ye Liang stared at Weisheng Tou, who looked like a vengeful ghost crawled out of hell, his scalp prickled and his eyes filled with terror.
Weisheng Tou slammed a savage punch into Ye Liang's face.
Ye Liang's nose broke outright, twisting to one side.
The excruciating pain and suffocation made his vision go black, nearly knocking him unconscious.
"Heh, Ye Liang."
Looking at Ye Liang's blood-covered face, Weisheng Tou wore an almost crazed smile.
"Do you want to die?"
Ye Liang coughed violently, spitting bloody foam.
Teeth came out with it.
"I'm asking you, do you want to die?!"
Weisheng Tou drove another punch down, his wide golden eyes and upturned lips exuding a horrifying malevolence.
Ye Liang's face was bruised purple.
His breathing grew weaker and weaker. He opened his mouth to speak, but no sound came out.
"I'm asking you, do you want to die?! Are you mute? Why won't you answer me?!"
Weisheng Tou punched him again.
Ye Liang's right eyeball burst.
He passed out.
But Weisheng Tou seemed not to notice, hammering Ye Liang into the concrete with one vicious punch after another.
The sky grew darker still.
Even the moon vanished, completely obscured by the clouds.
Only the stone lamps outside the Lan Mountain Residence cast a faint, cold glow.
Drops of water fell one by one at first, then quickly became a torrential downpour pounding the ground.
Mo Lu hurried out, a servant behind him holding an umbrella over him.
He froze at the sight before him.
Rose Liquor and mint pheromones mingled, so potent that even Mo Lu felt dizzy for a moment.
His Omega pheromones trembled uncontrollably in fear.
Rainwater mixed with blood spread everywhere across the ground.
Weisheng Tou gripped Ye Liang's collar fiercely, his tousled black wolf-cut hair covering his eyes.
All Mo Lu could see was his pale jaw dripping bloody water, and the slight upward curl of his lips.
Ye Liang hung from Weisheng Tou's grip like a heap of mangled flesh, his head dangling from his limp neck like a weightless plastic bag, with no telling whether he was alive or dead.
Weisheng Tou was smiling.
At that realization, a chill crept into Mo Lu's heart.
"Weisheng Tou."
Mo Lu's voice trembled slightly.
Hearing Mo Lu's voice, Weisheng Tou stiffened.
The torrential rain was cold and relentless.
Through the curtain of pouring rain, Mo Lu's voice sounded like a strange noise coming from the edge of the sky.
Kneeling astride Ye Liang, Weisheng Tou slowly turned his head.
His hand still clutched Ye Liang's collar in a death grip.
He tilted his head slightly, looking through the icy curtain of rain at Mo Lu, who stood beside the dim stone lamp, with his golden eyes.
Raindrops burst into dark splashes around him, rising into a ghastly white mist.
It felt as though Mo Lu and he stood in two different worlds.
