Steven explained, "Based on what we've found so far, these are the same as the Mirror Stones in Reflection Cave near Shalour City."

Mirror Stones? Li Wei rested a hand beneath his chin, thinking.

Roark pressed him. "Mirror Stones? Is there anything special about them?"

Steven made a rare joke. "Does serving as a full-length mirror for girls count?"

Roark's tightly wound nerves abruptly gave way, and he clenched his gloved fists.

"Mr. Steven, this isn't the time for jokes!"

Even Lucario nearly stumbled at Steven's remark.

Steven said softly, "Roark, I know you're worried, but staying so tense won't help."

Steven had noticed long ago how tense Roark was.

People had gone missing, and Steven was worried too.
