Li Wei and Cynthia immediately hit it off and decided to buy property in the Alola Region-two neighboring villas.
Li Wei called Professor Kukui to ask for his advice.
Professor Kukui had Pokédex Rotom bring up a digital map.
"Look at the northern shore of Kala'e Bay. This spot was voted one of Alola's hundred most beautiful sights.
"The views there are fantastic, looking straight out over the bay and the endless ocean. You can even see the entrance to Seaward Cave, and it's nice and quiet."
"And it's pretty close to my lab, too. We could visit and exchange ideas!"
Following Professor Kukui's directions, Li Wei and Cynthia looked at Kala'e Bay on the map.
"Rotom, zoom in."

Once the map was enlarged, it revealed a beautifully planned residential area.
Pokédex Rotom could access satellite imagery, even giving them an overhead view of the villas' layouts.
Since the terrain was mountainous, the villas had been built to suit the landscape. Some stood alone in their own grounds, while others formed adjoining rows.
"There happen to be several neighboring seaside villas for sale here. They're all classic Alolan wooden buildings, with private beaches and gardens.
"The garden fence between two houses can be opened up.
"That way, you'd each keep your own private space while still being able to drop by easily. I think they're exactly what you're looking for!"
Li Wei had already given Professor Kukui a rough idea of what he and Cynthia wanted.
"We've decided to put the battle with the totem Pokémon on hold and buy houses first."
Professor Kukui couldn't help laughing, surprised by how quickly Li Wei and Cynthia acted.
