"But why are you two buying two houses?"

After viewing ten villas,
Cynthia and Li Wei had found their ideal choice.
Of course, it was also the most expensive choice.
When the real estate agent brought over the prepared documents,
and quoted an astronomical total,
she was just about to ask how they would like to pay,
for these were two luxury seaside villas complete with a private beach and large gardens, and naturally, they did not come cheap,
when Cynthia elegantly took a bank card gleaming dark gold from her handbag and handed it to the agent.
"We'll take these two. Payment in full."
Cynthia was utterly casual, as though she were buying two cups of coffee rather than two luxury seaside mansions.
Wasn't this like buying an entire Mixue shop outright instead of just a drink?!

In terms of total assets, though, Li Wei, who had become Team Rainbow Rocket's second-largest shareholder, was actually wealthier than Cynthia.
