Today, the rocky cave nest built for Aerodactyl on the island in the Artificial Lake was finally completed.
Li Wei had given the NBJ Architectural Design Company his requirements based on Aerodactyl's habits,
and they had designed it accordingly.
Aerodactyl liked living relatively high up, in caves carved into the middle of cliff faces rather than on mountaintops.
To meet those requirements, Li Wei had first used the enormous landscaping rock originally intended to build Pride Rock for Pyroar.
A towering artificial mountain rose from the island, with Aerodactyl's nest halfway up.
About sixty meters tall, the artificial mountain replicated the sheer middle section of a steep coastal cliff, with a cave dug deep inside for Aerodactyl to live in.
The lookout at the summit featured exposed, pointed rocks where Aerodactyl could perch to watch over the territory and gather strength before diving.
The NBJ Architectural Design Company had also designed a windbreak, with slabs of limestone jutting out above the nest like a natural awning to weaken strong winds.
Li Wei was very pleased with Aerodactyl's nest,
and so was Aerodactyl.
Aerodactyl had now witnessed the power of science.
In ancient times, if Aerodactyl wanted a nest like this, the options were either to take over someone else's nest,
or carve one out and then defend it.
But modern technology combined with Pokémon had completed it in just three days.
Li Wei gently stroked Aerodactyl's rocky head.
"This will be your home from now on."
Aerodactyl gently nuzzled Li Wei in return.
When it had rained two days earlier, Aerodactyl had nowhere to shelter and had been forced to return to the ball temporarily.
Unlike Aerodactyl, who disliked getting wet, Corviknight enjoyed being out in the rain.
"Go decorate your nest."
Aerodactyl had a
