Xie De entered an SS-rank historical Instance as Viscount Scheid, swore allegiance to Belial, and tried to protect civilians while seeking a way to kill the demon. In the future, Wei Yanchi and the other Players uncovered the Viscount’s ghostly role and began piecing together the Instance’s history, while Orion found the witch with Zuo Shenghang.

• Xie De refused Wei Yanchi’s offer of the Feathered Person’s Eye, traveled to H City, and later infiltrated the E Country Research Center, where he discovered Ant and confronted the Immortal, a brain in a tank.
• Orion entered the Instance to investigate 39, while Xie De learned he would play Viscount Scheid in a 1739 historical scenario and set out to escape the rebels’ siege.
• Xie De met General Freeman Luo, agreed to serve Belial, and was appointed colonel, while Orion secretly tried to poison him and Xie De pardoned Emma.
• Wei Yanchi and the other Players discovered that the Viscount was a ghostly Colonel, and Wei Yanchi spoke with 39 before the Instance unlocked its history and assigned missions.
• Xie De chose to manipulate the warring factions and Belial rather than simply follow history, then fought at the front, stopped soldiers from attacking civilians, and learned from Emma about hidden grain supplies.
• Xie De confronted Belial with religious items, survived the demon’s attack, and told 455 he would kill him, while 455 revealed it could speak directly into Xie De’s mind.
• Orion rescued the injured Zuo Shenghang during a prison escape, and Zuo Shenghang said he was seeking a player called the witch before they found her in a village.

The players uncovered how Xie De and Emma became entangled in the curse, then helped stop Belial as the collapsing Instance forced Wei Yanchi’s dragon power out of control. Back in reality, Xie De and Wei Yanchi investigated strange incidents and boarded a train bound for the Death Desert, where rival groups gathered around them.

• Juelu, Orion, and Zuo Shenghang pursued the Viscount’s curse, while Wei Yanchi reappeared and led the players toward the city under attack.
• Orion learned that the old butler would die, but the butler refused to leave the Scheid Family, and Xie De later carved a stone clue warning that the butler would die and Sea City would fall.
• Xie De learned that Bearded Man was possessed by Belial, and Bailien killed Bearded Man with the Witch’s dagger before the demonic fire killed them both.
• Xie De lured Belial toward the prison’s Gate of Hell with the Witch, Orion, Zuo Shenghang, and 455, but Wei Yanchi’s dragon power later tore apart the Instance.
• Xie De used a sedative to stop Wei Yanchi, and the players discovered that Emma was the corpse in the Castle and had cursed anyone who disturbed the Viscount’s Territory.
• After the Instance ended, Xie De returned to reality with a mechanical right hand, while Wei Yanchi agreed to remain under 39’s supervision.
• Wei Yanchi and Xie De investigated strange events around apartments 1601 and 1602, and Wei Yanchi found a skull fragment that he believed caused the residents’ experiences.
• Xie De and Wei Yanchi joined an expedition toward the Death Desert, where the Witch, Zuo Shenghang, and members of the Illuminati gathered aboard the train before Wei Yanchi presented a murder riddle.

Xie De and Wei Yanchi survived Mirage City’s shifting illusions, uncovered the Shen Mother’s connection to the city, and found her little Shen. After the Laboratory attacked for the treasure, Xie De’s group was caught in a new, eerie domain, and Wei Yanchi proposed seeking help for their mission.

• Xie De and Wei Yanchi entered Mirage City, where the illusion placed them in Gotham and Xie De helped Wei Yanchi recognize that their world was fake.
• Xie De and Wei Yanchi entered a new illusion based on The Shining, where they encountered Beiwei’s frightening visions and Wei Yanchi reunited with Yue Xiamo.
• Xie De confronted Hu Songlin, who knew the town was an illusion but wanted to stay, and recovered the Angel’s Eye as the factions fought around them.
• Wei Yanchi used the angel eyeballs to shatter the illusion, and the group took shelter from a severe sandstorm in Mr. 39’s castle.
• Xie De and 455 discussed their partnership and 455’s escape from the Main God Space, then Xie De continued the expedition into the library.
• Xie De resisted illusions recreating people and dangers from past instances, followed Coal Ball to an oasis, and found Hu Songlin unconscious and a little Shen.
• 455 explained that the Shen Mother had become the city and that the group had to resolve her obsession and return the little Shen to the Eastern Sea.
• Mena and the Laboratory attacked for the treasure, and the battle shifted into a strange forest where Xie De ordered Emma and Beiwei killed, and afterward Wei Yanchi suggested seeking help from his master for the Shen Dragon mission.

Xie De returned to Happy Apartment and began building an Instance Faction while Hu Songlin and Belial breached the Laboratory in search of the Book of Creation. As the Arctic Base faced an earthquake and evacuation, Xie De and Wei Yanchi converged beneath the glacier.

• Xie De and his companions sailed toward Immortal Mountain, survived an attack by fish demons and ghosts, and escaped the sinking ship when Wei Yanchi transformed into a dragon.
• Xie De became Immortal Mountain’s high-ranking NPC, then returned to Happy Apartment and began planning an Instance Faction to challenge 730.
• Wei Yanchi joined Xie De at Happy Apartment, while Xu Gong agreed to cooperate with Lord Scheid in exchange for help saving her mother.
• Xie De recruited players from the Aquarium and befriended its little orca, while Hu Songlin found Belial and agreed to help him seek the Laboratory’s Book of Creation.
• Hu Songlin and Belial infiltrated the Laboratory, and Xie De secured permissions from 730 before leading a team toward the Arctic Base.
• Hu Songlin continued through the Arctic Base as Xie De learned about its experiments, and Belial identified the Book of Creation as their target.
• An earthquake warning triggered an evacuation, and Xie De and Juelu headed for the Book of Creation while Wei Yanchi broke through a ventilation duct and landed in front of Xie De.
