Finally realizing what Ji Xie was doing, Li Xian shifted, shaking the outer blanket halfway off before saying:

"Stop that."

Li Xian looked up at Ji Xie, who was half-kneeling in front of him. His clothes hadn't been thick to begin with, and even with the coat Li Xian had given him draped over his shoulders, he still looked inadequately dressed.

So he asked:

"Aren't you cold?"

Ji Xie's hands paused as he tugged the blanket back up. His eyes shifted slightly before he answered:

"A little."

As soon as he finished speaking, a rustling came from in front of him. Li Xian opened the blanket he had already wrapped tightly around himself a little, reaching out to return the outer blanket to Ji Xie. But Ji Xie seized that opening and immediately slipped inside.

Li Xian's movement was cut short. Startled, he looked up at Ji Xie, who had pressed against him in the blink of an eye. Ji Xie blinked at him twice, then kept edging closer, as if the distance between them still wasn't small enough.

The blanket, which had been wrapped fairly snugly around him, threatened to fall open after all that movement, letting the warmth he had just built up escape. Seeing this, Li Xian simply reached out and closed it around them, leaving the two of them squeezed together face-to-face.

Compared with last time, Li Xian was less hesitant, though he still couldn't help feeling a little awkward the moment their bodies touched. He adjusted his position, turning his back to Ji Xie instead.

Ji Xie naturally took the opportunity to wrap him in his arms. Li Xian felt as though the temperature beneath the blanket had instantly risen a few degrees. Gentle warmth spread from behind him, driving away most of the cold.
