Background / History

Xun'er came to live with the Xiao Clan during the year Xiao Yan was born, when Xiao Long was two. The stated reason for her arrival was recuperation: a family with longstanding ties to the Xiao family had sent an unwell girl to stay with them. Xiao Long later identifies her actual objective as the Xiao Clan's Tou She Ancient God Jade 1 17.

At four, shortly after arriving, she suffered a backlash from the Golden Emperor Burning Heaven Flame. Its heat left her writhing on her bed. Xiao Long subdued the raging energy by pressing a hand against her back, an experience she later recalls when he treats Xiao Yi Xian's condition 9 11.

She grew up closely attached to Xiao Long and holds a special position within the Xiao Clan, including a courtyard of her own. Her concern over Xiao Lin's return centers on whether he might expose her background and cause Xiao Long to distance himself from her 8 17.
