Arc 1A Place to Belong

Osamu Dazai entered Jujutsu High, formed fragile bonds with its students, and faced the cursed spirit that forced him to confront memories of his former world. As Suguru Geto’s convictions began to falter, Dazai rescued Nanako and Mimiko and decided he would intervene if Geto turned against ordinary people.

  • Osamu Dazai arrived in the world of curses, discovered that his touch nullified cursed techniques, and enrolled at Jujutsu High after Masamichi Yaga took him in.
  • Dazai joined Sōsuke Mizukawa and Nozomu Sakai on a mission, erased a Special Grade Cursed Spirit, and refused to help Sato Ichima after the Sorcerer Killer attacked the higher-ups.
  • Dazai made a deal with Toji Zenin to save Toji’s wife, then killed two sorcerers who ambushed him and later found Mizukawa and Sakai dead in Lupin.
  • Dazai confronted a cursed spirit that appeared as Oda Sakunosuke, carried his classmates’ bodies out, and later faced memories of his past before leaving Japan for an overseas mission.
  • Masamichi Yaga defended Dazai when the higher-ups sought to take him, and Yaga pulled him from a winter river after another suicide attempt.

Arc 2The Red Scarf Returns

Dazai tried to shape Geto’s future and destroy Kenjaku before dying, leaving Yaga and his friends to mourn him. A Book-powered screening then followed Dazai’s early days with Chūya, while the red scarf drew Yaga into the Port Mafia’s world.

  • Dazai sent Nanako and Mimiko to Shoko, then tried to bleed to death before Yaga rescued and treated him.
  • Dazai confronted Geto about his doubts and plans, warned him against acting without strength or understanding the consequences, and arranged support for him.
  • Dazai gave Toji a page from the Book, trapped Kenjaku in a barrier at the Higher-Ups’ headquarters, and shot himself as the building burned.
  • Yaga held Dazai’s funeral with an empty urn, while Gojo and Geto later followed Dazai’s plans to change Jujutsu Society policies.
  • The Book brought Yaga, Gojo, Geto, and others to a screening of Dazai’s past, beginning with his meeting with Mori and his investigation of the former boss’s return.
  • Dazai and Chūya investigated the Arahabaki rumors, fought GSS attackers, and found that Rimbaud’s account of the Suribachi explosion did not add up.
  • Yaga urged Dazai to stop burying his grief in missions and trust his teacher, while a caretaker’s guide described how to care for Dazai Cat.
  • Chūya received Dazai’s bloodstained red scarf, and Yaga later woke in Port Mafia territory with the scarf and met Chūya.
