The other Dawn Horses froze at the sight.
They had not even seen Frost Tiger move.
A sudden chill had merely crept into the air, and then the Dawn Horse that had spoken was encased in solid ice.
Frost Tiger raised his enormous paw and pushed the ice sculpture.
Crack, crack, crack.
The ice sculpture split apart, and the entire Dawn Horse shattered into ice shards scattered across the ground.
The remaining Dawn Horses all retreated several steps, the manes along their necks standing on end.
"You..." one Dawn Horse asked in disbelief. "How did you do that?"
Another Dawn Horse stared at the ice shards on the ground, then at the golden dawnlight covering its own body, its voice full of terror. "The rules of the [Succession Star Competition] are still in effect! The restrictions on me haven't disappeared! Every creature that comes here still has its power restricted! That attack was nowhere near a level you're allowed to use!"
A Dawn Horse neighed, "Where's the Succession Envoy? Why hasn't the Succession Envoy appeared yet?! That power just broke the rules! There's no way he didn't notice!"
The Dawn Horses all raised their heads and looked toward the starry sky.
The starry sky remained as quiet as ever.
The enormous crow phantom still loomed over the sky, showing no sign of anything unusual.
It was as though Frost Tiger had done nothing improper at all.
"How could this be..."
Frost Tiger stood where he was, watching the Dawn Horses panic with indifference. His cold gaze swept over the remaining horses.
"Now, do you still want to reason with me?"
The Dawn Horses remained silent.
Even in the Star Sea, Frost Tiger would have needed a chase and a fight to kill their companion.
Yet now, not even a scrap
