Ch. 1882Genesis Era

After the Eighth Domain killed the Patterned Fox, the United Government restored the missing year to the calendar and established July 10 as the Revival Festival. Gu Weirong commemorated the fallen and declared the start of the Genesis Era, as humanity prepared to reclaim Earth.

  • Qin Siyang returned to the Safe Zone carrying the Patterned Fox's corpse, and hundreds of millions celebrated the Eighth Domain's victory.
  • The United Government decided to restore the missing year and designate July 10 as the annual Revival Festival.
  • The Eighth Domain displayed pieces of the Patterned Fox and held celebrations honoring the operation that killed it.
  • Gu Weirong read the names of those who died in the battle before addressing the crowd.
  • Gu Weirong declared that the Apocalypse had ended on July 9, 2012, and the Genesis Era had begun on July 10, 2013.

Ch. 1883Earth trembled

The Safe Zone celebrated Revival Day as Qin Siyang was honored for killing the Patterned Fox, while Wen Shu wondered whether he could become the Star Lord. News of the Eighth Domain’s victory frightened the Third and Fourth Domains, and Sima Ji proposed working with Qin Siyang against the First Domain.

  • The Safe Zone welcomed July 10, 2013, with a countdown, fireworks, music, and celebrations marking Revival Day.
  • Qin Siyang told a grieving child that his father had been a hero of the Eighth Domain and encouraged the child to follow his example.
  • Wei Rulai and Zhao Longfei decided to burn incense for Wei Rulai’s elder brother, while Wen Shu watched Qin Siyang’s footage and wondered whether he could become the Star Lord.
  • Spies spread news of the Eighth Domain’s victory over a Large God, terrifying the new rulers of the Third and Fourth Domains.
  • Sima Ji told Chen Xiao'en that he would work with Qin Siyang to overthrow the First Domain, despite viewing Qin Siyang as a future obstacle to becoming the Star Lord.

Ch. 1884The First Domain's countermeasures

After Patterned Fox's death, the Eighth Domain's leaders debated whether to attack two powerful First Domain enemies or clear the enemies around their territory. They chose to clear the perimeter first, but a sudden report revealed that many Large Gods had appeared in the Outer Domain.

  • At the First Domain's Round Table Meeting, Duke Henry announced Patterned Fox's death and said he had contacted Frost Tiger for help.
  • Gu Weirong told the Eighth Domain's leaders that two domain sequence level five enemies had tried to kill Qin Siyang and that enemies still surrounded the Eighth Domain.
  • Qin Siyang explained that attacking the two enemies at their sea foothold risked losing him and more than a hundred thousand troops.
  • Hu Chan and Old Johnny warned that they could not restrain Madison and Adams as they had Patterned Fox.
  • Qin Siyang decided to muster troops the next day to clear the enemies around the Eighth Domain and open an exploration route.
  • A staff member reported that a large number of Large Gods had suddenly appeared in the Outer Domain.

Ch. 1885Clearing the Perimeter

Qin Siyang revised the Eighth Domain’s plan after Large Gods gathered around its perimeter, then led a small team to eliminate hidden enemies without provoking the gods. The chapter ended with Qin Siyang ordering Hu Chan to guide them to more targets, while a giant tiger watched from the riverbank.

  • Qin Siyang canceled the planned assassinations of Madison and Adams and decided to clear the enemies lurking outside the Eighth Domain in small teams.
  • Qin Siyang used Hu Chan’s coordinates to locate and kill two Domain Sequence Ability Users near the river.
  • Five hidden Domain Sequence Ability Users ambushed Qin Siyang, but Hu Chan, Duan Chongfang, and Gu Yunzheng helped him defeat them all.
  • Qin Siyang ignored a threatening giant tiger and told Hu Chan to provide more coordinates so they could continue hunting the enemies outside the Eighth Domain.

Ch. 1886Purge them all

Qin Siyang and his companions swiftly wiped out the First Domain’s remaining lurkers around the Eighth Domain, ignoring warnings from the watching Large Gods. Before returning, Qin Siyang tossed a black-and-white fox pelt in front of the Frost Tiger.

  • Qin Siyang used [Rivers and Mountains Feast Kingdom] to move his companions between the Great River and the Mountain Ridge's Dense Forest and ambush the lurkers.
  • Qin Siyang and his companions killed the First Domain operatives stationed outside the Eighth Domain, who had been left there to monitor it and restrict its people.
  • The watching Large Gods warned Qin Siyang to stop, and the Frost Tiger growled at him, but Qin Siyang ignored them.
  • After nearly a full day, Qin Siyang finished clearing out the enemies outside the Eighth Domain.
  • Qin Siyang tossed a black-and-white fox pelt in front of the Frost Tiger and vanished into the river waves.

Ch. 1887That's fate

The United Government established an Exploration Department to explore the world beyond the Eighth Domain, while Zhao Longfei and Hu Chan took on its leadership roles. A succession of promotions stirred fierce competition, which ended with Hou Wencheng becoming Deputy District Chief of District No. 711 thanks to his past loyalty to Yu Renjie.

  • The United Government established the Exploration Department, with Zhao Longfei as Minister and Hu Chan as Deputy Minister; Zhao explored by remote reconnaissance while Hu joined Qin Siyang in the field.
  • Gu Weirong moved Zhao Longfei from the Awakening Department, prompting Liu Yingfeng, Vincent, Cui Zhonghua, and Lin Dexing to take over successive government posts.
  • The vacancy left by Lin Dexing drew intense competition, and reports targeting contenders flooded Sun Linshou's Department of Justice.
  • Hou Wencheng secured the Deputy District Chief position, puzzling officials who saw no connection between him and Qin Siyang.
  • Officials learned that Hou Wencheng had supported Yu Renjie during his downfall, and Qin Siyang's later support for Yu Renjie had helped bring Hou the appointment.

Ch. 1888How to become a Star Lord

The Exploration Department mapped the world beyond the Eighth Domain, while Gu Yunzheng and the Safe Zone’s fighters gained new roles and made rapid progress. As Qin Siyang passed more Large Gods’ trials, he learned the conditions for winning the succession star competition and becoming a Star Lord, but the meaning of its third condition remained to be explained.

  • Under Zhao Longfei’s leadership, the Exploration Department mapped the First, Third, Fourth, and Seventh Domains and reported that humanity could live only on land.
  • Gu Yunzheng became Vice President of the United Church and Director of the Exploration Department after the Safe Zone recognized his knowledge and perseverance.
  • Qin Siyang passed many Large Gods’ trials, gained abilities including Shadow Wings and Night Vision, and heard several Large Gods reveal the competition’s winning conditions.
  • Qin Siyang learned that he had to reach the highest sequence level on Earth, achieve a battle record renowned across Earth, and be regarded as the strongest traceable living fighter.
  • After Qin Siyang asked what “can be traced” meant, another Large God began explaining the qualification.

Ch. 1889Tracing the strongest

Qin Siyang learned that becoming a Star Lord required reaching the highest Sequence Level and having the recognition of the strongest fighters ultimately trace back to him. Meanwhile, Frost Tiger decided to help whoever killed Qin Siyang and hinted that he feared being killed himself, before freezing a Dawn Horse that challenged him.

  • Qin Siyang concluded that reaching Domain Sequence Level Five was his urgent priority before he could challenge the First Domain’s strongest fighters.
  • Frost Tiger ordered the Dawn Horses to warn Henry and the others to kill Qin Siyang, canceled their prior cooperation, and promised to support his killer’s bid to become a Star Lord.
  • The Dawn Horses argued that killing Qin Siyang would not restore the First Domain’s influence over the independent Eighth Domain.
  • Frost Tiger asked whether becoming someone’s mount would make others recognize that person as Earth’s strongest, then said he feared dying and demanded the Dawn Horses keep his secret.
  • When a Dawn Horse challenged him, Frost Tiger froze it into an ice sculpture.

Ch. 1890[Pathslayer]

Frost Tiger revealed to the Dawn Horses that a god had granted him power to evade the Succession Envoy and that he was a [Pathslayer] assigned to kill Qin Siyang. He left the Dawn Horses wary of his promises, and the oldest challenged him to kill them rather than deceive them.

  • Frost Tiger shattered a Dawn Horse with an unrestricted ice attack, terrifying the others.
  • Frost Tiger explained that god-given power let him evade the Succession Envoy, though killing a human would still draw attention.
  • Frost Tiger told the Dawn Horses that he was a [Pathslayer] ordered by his clan to kill Qin Siyang.
  • Frost Tiger said Qin Siyang's survival could bring disaster upon his clan and promised the Dawn Horses a chance to become his Original Followers.
  • The oldest Dawn Horse rejected Frost Tiger's promise and said the group would rather be killed than tricked into helping him.

Ch. 1891You Should Come with Me After All

Hu Beiyin persuaded the Dawn Horses to become his Original Followers and ordered them to carry a message to Henry and the others about keeping Qin Siyang in check. After clearing threats around the Eighth Domain and passing more than twenty Large Gods’ Succession Trials, Qin Siyang prepared to head out to sea again, leaving Wen Shu concerned for his safety.

  • Hu Beiyin revealed that he had killed Ma Lieyang and challenged the Dawn Horses to choose between their race and becoming his Original Followers.
  • Hu Beiyin criticized the Dawn Horse race for exploiting its members and argued that serving him would give them and their relatives a better life.
  • The Dawn Horses agreed to become Hu Beiyin’s Original Followers, and he ordered them to relay his words to Henry and the others.
  • Qin Siyang spent half a month clearing dangers around the Eighth Domain and passing the Succession Trials of more than twenty Large Gods.
  • Qin Siyang told Wen Shu he would head out to sea in two days, and Wen Shu urged him to prepare carefully.

Ch. 1892The rift in the First Domain

At the Round Table Meeting, Duke Henry judged Qin Siyang to be a threat stronger than Sima Ji and urged the nobles not to attack him carelessly. Afterward, Duke Henry and Marquis Madison dismissed Frost Tiger’s terms and worried that his message could set the First Domain’s factions against each other.

  • Count Taylor told the Round Table Meeting that Frost Tiger had sent word through Dawn Horse, prompting Count Henry to accuse him and his allies of repeatedly failing to kill Qin Siyang.
  • Duke Henry stopped the argument and defended Marquis Madison and Adams, concluding that Qin Siyang had escaped because he was stronger than they had expected.
  • Marquis Madison said there was almost no chance of killing Qin Siyang unless he made a mistake, and Duke Henry warned the nobles against acting alone.
  • After the meeting, Duke Henry asked Marquis Madison to stay, and they agreed Frost Tiger’s terms should not disrupt their plans.
  • Duke Henry said he would prefer to become Star Lord but could accept Marquis Madison in the role, while both men worried Frost Tiger was stirring conflict in the First Domain.

Ch. 1893Like a gentleman

Adams asked Marquis Madison why he had shared crucial information with the Henry Family, and Madison explained that their rivalry did not make them enemies without limits. Madison refused to help Adams kill Qin Siyang, leaving Adams determined to pursue the dangerous plan alone.

  • Adams questioned Marquis Madison about revealing the information that could help defeat Qin Siyang to the Henry Family.
  • Madison argued that he and Duke Henry had competed while retaining the dignity and restraint of old-fashioned gentlemen.
  • Adams said the conflict with the Henry Family had escalated, as Count Henry and Viscount Mary had followed Viscount Wilson after the meeting.
  • Adams asked Madison to help kill Qin Siyang, but Madison said Qin could not be killed easily and refused to join the risky attempt.
  • Madison promised not to reveal the island plan, while Adams thanked him and prepared to go ahead without his help.

Ch. 1894Island, Come!

Qin Siyang summoned his island into the Eighth Domain’s Safe Zone, where its traps were contained by Li Tianming’s defenses. The summoning also brought Adams into the pit, and Qin Siyang confronted the First Domain marquis as the surrounding forces held him in place.

  • Li Tianming’s team prepared a reinforced pit and layered defenses in the Safe Zone for Qin Siyang to summon his island safely.
  • Qin Siyang activated [Domain Summoning], and the island appeared in the pit as its black-light attacks, poisonous mist, and mental traps struck the defenses.
  • When the island settled, Qin Siyang, Gu Yunzheng, and the others discovered Adams standing on its edge.
  • Adams explained that he had waited on the island to ambush Qin Siyang, but the summoning had brought him into the Eighth Domain’s defenses instead.
  • Adams dismissed everyone in the Eighth Domain except Qin Siyang, who told him that the people Adams looked down on were the reason he could stand there and trap him.

Ch. 1895Third Under Heaven

Adams used a staircase ability to attack the Eighth Domain’s defensive shield and then tried to escape through twelve indistinguishable paths. Just as he reached their ends, his skill stopped working, leaving his departure unresolved.

  • Adams questioned Qin Siyang about the forces assembled to fight him, and Qin explained that they were waiting to counter his abilities.
  • Adams climbed the first two steps of a white staircase, growing stronger and more translucent as his attacks shook the defensive shield.
  • Li Tianming ordered the forces to attack the forming third step, and their attacks stopped it from extending.
  • Adams split the staircase into twelve paths and sent a figure of himself down each one, but the attacks could not affect the paths or figures.
  • Qin Siyang concluded that Adams would escape and that an interception might fail, but all twelve Adamses stopped at the ends of their paths and Adams exclaimed that his skill had stopped working.

Ch. 1896Hostage

Qin Siyang and his allies stopped Adams from escaping by using Zhu Haifeng’s teleportation circles to shatter Adams’s spatial roads. Adams then took Zhang Kuang hostage, leaving Qin Siyang to choose between letting Adams go and risking Zhang’s life.

  • Zhu Haifeng opened twelve teleportation circles at the endpoints of Adams’s white roads, causing the competing spatial passages to warp and collapse.
  • Li Tianming explained how the circles countered Adams’s escape skill, and Wei Rulai ordered the troops to begin another concentrated attack.
  • Old Johnny spotted Zhang Kuang in Adams’s grasp and called for the troops to stop firing.
  • Adams revealed that he had found Zhang Kuang in the Hurricane Eel’s eye and offered to release him only after he was allowed to leave.
  • Qin Siyang demanded that Adams release Zhang Kuang, but Adams refused to trust him and insisted on leaving first.
  • Zhang Kuang regained consciousness enough to tell Qin Siyang not to let Adams escape and said he would take Adams down with him if necessary.

Ch. 1897I Have My Own Way

Zhang Kuang refused to let Qin Siyang’s forces surrender to Adams to save him, so Old Johnny ordered an attack despite the hostage’s presence. Adams killed Zhang Kuang and began escaping up a Golden Staircase, but Qin Siyang appeared beside him as he prepared to break through the defenses.

  • Zhang Kuang urged Qin Siyang and the others not to worry about him, but Adams sealed his voice and threatened him.
  • Old Johnny said Zhang Kuang would be tormented if they ignored his choice, then told Wei Rulai to order an attack.
  • Wei Rulai’s forces bombarded Adams, and Zhao Sifang’s flames wounded him after Adams dodged the first barrage.
  • Adams killed Zhang Kuang, and Qin Siyang demanded to know Old Johnny’s plan before ordering the attack to continue.
  • Adams climbed a Golden Staircase, struck the Mobile Fortress’s Shields with a powerful slash, and moved toward a crack in them.
  • Qin Siyang appeared beside Adams as he prepared to widen the crack with his sword.

Ch. 1898Blasting Adams to Death

Qin Siyang and his allies killed Adams after trapping him on the island, where his powers and escape options were steadily stripped away. After Adams died, Old Johnny revealed a new domain-sequence skill that began reconstructing Zhang Kuang from blood mist and particles.

  • Qin Siyang and the others battered Adams with coordinated attacks until his strength collapsed and his escape attempts failed.
  • Adams admitted that Qin Siyang had moved the entire island and accepted responsibility for his defeat before Wei Rulai ordered the final bombardment.
  • After five minutes of bombardment, Adams was dead, and Li Tianming demanded that Old Johnny find a way to help Zhang Kuang.
  • Old Johnny entered the island with Qin Siyang and Li Tianming, then asked Li Tianming to seal the area from outside view.
  • Old Johnny cut his finger and used a new skill to gather blood mist and particles into a forming figure that Li Tianming recognized as Zhang Kuang.

Ch. 1899Elder brother and younger brother

Old Johnny used his life force to resurrect Zhang Kuang, revealing himself as Zhang Kuang’s long-lost older brother. As Zhang Kuang recognized him and begged him not to die, he tried to sever the Blood Thread connecting them.

  • Old Johnny began resurrecting Zhang Kuang, explaining that bringing him back with his abilities would cost Old Johnny his life force.
  • Zhang Kuang recognized Old Johnny as his brother, and the two reunited after years apart.
  • Old Johnny explained that he had stayed away because he was ashamed of his appearance and feared holding Zhang Kuang back.
  • Zhang Kuang recalled the ways his brother had helped him and promised they could live together with Li Tianming and Qin Siyang.
  • Zhang Kuang realized the resurrection was killing Old Johnny and struggled to sever the Blood Thread, refusing to trade his brother’s life for his own.

Ch. 1900The value of pain

Old Johnny sacrificed himself to revive Zhang Kuang and asked Li Tianming to erase Zhang Kuang’s memories of being his brother, hoping to spare him grief. Li Tianming pretended to alter the memories so Old Johnny could die at peace, but left them intact, saying pain was part of who Zhang Kuang was.

  • Old Johnny asked Li Tianming to erase Zhang Kuang’s memories of their brotherhood and gave him a false story to explain his sacrifice.
  • Old Johnny explained that he wanted Zhang Kuang to remember him as a heroic elder brother rather than grieve over the person he had become.
  • Zhang Kuang begged Li Tianming not to erase his memories, but Li Tianming eventually placed his hand on Zhang Kuang’s head as Old Johnny’s Blood Thread snapped.
  • Zhang Kuang finished regenerating as Old Johnny died, and he cradled his brother’s body while sobbing.
  • Li Tianming told Qin Siyang that he had not altered Zhang Kuang’s memories and explained that pain was among a person’s most profound memories.

Ch. 1901The Round Table fell apart

After Zhang Yang’s death was kept secret, Qin Siyang spent two more days in the Safe Zone before news of his killing Adams reached the First Domain. With the Round Table fractured by deaths, injuries, and suspicion, Duke Henry warned the remaining nobles not to challenge Qin Siyang and to wait for him and Sima Ji.

  • Qin Siyang and the others honored Zhang Yang’s final wishes, and Zhang Kuang buried his brother in a quiet, deserted place.
  • Qin Siyang told Wen Shu he had caught and killed a powerful figure from the First Domain, then said he planned to explore again soon.
  • News of Adams’s death spread, intensifying unrest in the First Domain and making the Round Table Meeting difficult to hold.
  • At the meeting, Viscount Frank and Count Taylor pressed for answers about Viscount Wilson’s and Viscount Mary’s disappearances, while Duke Henry refused to explain Count Henry’s role.
  • Duke Henry told the remaining nobles that Qin Siyang could no longer be stopped, warned them not to trouble him, and said to wait for him and Sima Ji.
