Chapter Summaries

Naomitsu confronted Shuizhan, a Special Grade disaster cursed spirit who had returned after Sukuna killed him a thousand years earlier. After Naomitsu overwhelmed Shuizhan in a cursed-energy contest, Shuizhan expanded his domain, and the two began competing inside Naomitsu’s domain.

• Aoi Todo, Inumaki Yaki, Noritoshi Kamo, and Fujiwara Sora exorcised a cursed spirit that attacked them after they landed in Sapporo.
• Shuizhan arrived and demanded to know where Sukuna was, so Naomitsu sent the students away and faced the cursed spirit alone.
• Naomitsu tested Shuizhan with shikigami, then matched Shuizhan’s Time Resonance as the cursed spirit increased his cursed energy output.

After absorbing Shuizhan, Naomitsu headed toward the airport and encountered powerful ancient sorcerers and a curse user seeking Kenjaku. When ten Grade 1 cursed spirits attacked him, he used his new Open Domain to drain their cursed energy and turn them into statues.

Their first peaceful evening ended when a huge surge of cursed energy and flames erupted from the Zenin Clan, and Naomitsu sent students to rescue the girls’ mother.

After Naomitsu used Mahoraga to wipe out a group of cursed spirits and curse users, a blind ancient sorcerer confronted Itadori and demanded that he summon Sukuna.

• Kenjaku offered to repair Mechamaru’s body, but Naomitsu instead asked him to free Maki and Mai from the constraints of their twin bond using Mahito’s technique.
• Kenjaku accepted the deal for all eight Sukuna’s Fingers, while Naomitsu warned that failure would mean Kenjaku’s death.

• Jujutsu Society formed the Curse Hunting Guild, and Mai, Zhenwei, and Maki rose to S-rank as the Tyrant Squad, helping Naomitsu move into a luxurious estate.

• Yamata no Great Serpent seized Itadori and fled as Jujutsu High’s students and teachers pursued her.
• Naomitsu shot Yamata no Great Serpent with a Cursed Energy Cannon, destroying one of her snake heads before she regenerated it.
• Yamata no Great Serpent escaped into a subway station, where Kenjaku and the Disaster Cursed Spirits met her.
• Jogo fed Itadori fifteen of Sukuna’s Fingers, bringing Sukuna’s total to sixteen.

Sukuna fought Yamata no Great Serpent in the underground station while Naomitsu arranged an evacuation and watched from nearby. Sukuna destroyed the area and defeated Yamata no Great Serpent, then faced Naomitsu, whose cursed energy surpassed his.

• Kenjaku fled as Sukuna attacked Yamata no Great Serpent, while Jogo, Hanami, and the other disaster cursed spirit hesitated to escape.
• Sukuna and Yamata no Great Serpent opened domains, battled at close range, and repeatedly damaged each other as their domains clashed.
