Sako’s Death Omen Star blessing 107 Reveals that surviving the Kamo Clan encounter earned him a portion of Sako’s power. It creates a special-grade-strength duplicate capable of deploying Womb Profusion alongside him.

Background / History

Kenjaku has lived for more than a thousand years by assuming different bodies and identities. His attempts to interfere with Tengen’s assimilation were repeatedly frustrated by Six Eyes bearers. After his second defeat, he killed both a Six Eyes bearer and a Star Plasma Vessel before they were a month old, but replacements still appeared on the day of assimilation 3 78 85.

Approximately 150 years before the present story, he operated as Noritoshi Kamo, head of the Kamo Clan. His experiments on a woman capable of becoming pregnant by a cursed spirit produced the nine Death Painting Wombs. He mixed his own blood into their creation, making him one of Choso’s three parents. When his identity was exposed, he left the clan but retained contingencies that later helped him reclaim it 53 78 94.

Kenjaku also occupied Kaori Itadori’s body and retained her Anti-Gravity System technique. He carefully selected Yuji to become Sukuna’s vessel, later describing Yuji’s purpose as a catalyst for the coming age of curses 3 94 105 107 109.

Toji Fushiguro’s disruption of the fate linking Tengen, the Star Plasma Vessel, and the Six Eyes created an opening for Kenjaku. Tengen’s subsequent evolution made her susceptible to Cursed Spirit Manipulation—the technique Kenjaku acquired by taking Suguru Geto’s remains 64 85.

Appearance

  • Current host: Suguru Geto’s body, seen wearing monk’s robes 64 94.
  • Forehead stitches: A conspicuous stitched seam across his forehead; he considers undoing it during combat a dangerous disadvantage 95.
  • Brain-like form: The Kamo Clan impostors reproduce brains identified as identical to his, complete with mouths full of sharp teeth 94.

Personality

Kenjaku is a patient strategist whose experiments treat people and curses as expendable materials. He cultivates Mahito’s growth to obtain a more valuable technique, dismisses the Death Paintings as failures, and exploits Choso’s anger to control their fight 73 74 105.

His ultimate motivation is curiosity rather than stable rule. He wants to create chaos beyond his own control and is willing to assimilate humanity with Tengen simply to discover the result. A thousand years of loneliness have also made him fond of conversation, particularly when discussing unfamiliar possibilities 73 79 104.

His composure falters when he loses control of events. Itsuki’s abilities unsettle him, while the Kamo Clan doubles nearly convince him that his own identity is false. Even under that pressure, his survival instincts and long-established sense of self prevent him from surrendering completely 65 73 95.

After witnessing Itsuki’s cosmic power, Kenjaku becomes an enthusiastic admirer. He regards his own merger scheme as insignificant beside Itsuki’s achievement, yet continues pursuing experiments of his own 80 104.

Abilities & Skills

Body Switching

Kenjaku assumes other people’s bodies while preserving his consciousness and accumulating access to their abilities 78 94 107.

  • Occupies Geto’s body to use Cursed Spirit Manipulation 64.
  • Retains Anti-Gravity System from Kaori Itadori after moving to Geto’s body 107.
  • His control is not absolute: Geto’s body briefly grabs its own throat after Gojo addresses it 64.

Cursed Spirit Manipulation

Geto’s technique gives Kenjaku a flexible stock of spirits for offense, defense, transport, and specialized effects 65 73 105.

  • Reinforces low-level spirits with his cursed energy, arguing that a coordinated swarm can defeat a Grade 1 sorcerer 105.
  • Uses hidden spirits to restrain Choso and others as disposable shields against blood attacks 105.
  • Employs a catfish-based illusion to counter Naobito Zenin’s attack 74.
  • Can potentially absorb the evolved Tengen, making the technique central to his assimilation plan 85.
Notable spirit Application Outcome / Limitation
Smallpox Deity Traps Itsuki in a coffin, buries him beneath a gravestone, and begins a lethal disease countdown 65. Itsuki neutralizes the disease with Death Omen Star energy and destroys the spirit 65.
Imported elephant-like deity curse A special-grade spirit whose technique removes “all obstacles” through the concept of its target 106. Yuki destroys it with Garuda empowered by Star Rage 106.

Maximum: Uzumaki

Uzumaki combines absorbed cursed spirits into an attack of extremely dense cursed energy. Its more valuable function is extracting techniques from spirits of Semi-Grade 1 or higher 16 73.

  • Kenjaku uses it to absorb Mahito and obtain Idle Transfiguration 78.
  • Combining spirits sacrifices the versatility of commanding them individually 73.
  • Yuki infers that extracted techniques are single-use, based on Kenjaku’s failure to reuse Idle Transfiguration during their battle 106.

Idle Transfiguration

After extracting Mahito’s technique, Kenjaku can reshape bodies and modify brains through changes to the soul 78 80.

  • Awakens marked people with latent techniques by giving them sorcerer-compatible brains 80.
  • Strengthens people who absorbed cursed objects so they can function as vessels 80.
  • Releases the seals on his prepared cursed objects and awakens marked people who had fallen into comas 80.
  • Demonstrates the acquired technique by transforming his own arm 78.

Anti-Gravity System and Gravity

Anti-Gravity System originated in Kaori Itadori’s body. The gravity attacks Kenjaku uses are its Cursed Technique Reversal 107.

  • Uses antigravity to destroy the room around him at the Kamo estate 94.
  • Forces down Choso’s surrounding blood pellets before Supernova can detonate 105.
  • Yuki assesses the gravity effect as reaching approximately two to three meters and lasting roughly six seconds 107.
  • Survives Yuki’s black hole by treating his flesh as a domain, improving antigravity’s output and activation restrictions. He acknowledges that this was an improvised gamble 107.

Barrier Techniques and Womb Profusion

Tengen describes Kenjaku’s barrier mastery as second only to her own 85.

  • Womb Profusion is an open domain without an enclosing outer shell 106.
  • Its structure prevents Tengen from using her planned outer-barrier dismantling strategy 106.
  • Its sure-hit attack rapidly destroys Yuki’s Simple Domain and gravely wounds her 106.
  • Kenjaku designs the Culling Game as perpetual, using the unreasonable obligation of ending it as a binding vow that makes its construction possible 108.

Sako’s Duplicate Blessing

The Death Omen Star Sako grants Kenjaku a duplicate with special-grade strength after the Kamo Clan ordeal 107.

  • The duplicate independently forms the hand seal for Womb Profusion 107.
  • Two simultaneous domains overwhelm Yuki’s domain and leave her severed at the waist 107.
  • The duplicate vanishes after the domain clash 107.

Reverse Cursed Technique

Kenjaku regenerates severe injuries, including broken bones, internal damage, and missing fingers 106.

  • Heals after Yuki’s mass-enhanced punch 106.
  • Restores himself after escaping her black hole 107.
  • Healing consumes cursed energy, reducing his available reserves during prolonged combat 107.

Combat Experience and Cursed-Object Creation

Kenjaku combines Geto’s bodily combat instincts with over a thousand years of experience, decisively outperforming Choso in hand-to-hand combat 105.

  • Recognizes Choso’s scouting strategy and initially withholds techniques other than Cursed Spirit Manipulation 105.
  • Is unaffected by the toxins in Choso’s blood, attributing this to being his father 105.
  • Recruits ancient sorcerers through his knowledge of turning them into cursed objects after death 108.
  • Sukuna learns his cursed-object creation method after observing it once 77.

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Prison Realm — Used to seal Gojo through the shock of seeing Geto’s body. It cannot be reused while Gojo remains inside; Kenjaku later opens it and releases him 64 65 79.
  • Tracking talismans — Plants talismans infused with Mahito’s cursed energy inside Sukuna’s fingers, enabling Mahito to identify the correct storehouse despite Tengen’s shifting barriers 50.
  • Cursed sword — Blocks Megumi’s ambush during the final battle, but shatters on impact 109.

Relationships

  • Araki Itsuki — Initially an obstacle to eliminate, then an overwhelming authority and source of fascination. Kenjaku abandons his plan to use Sukuna against him, cooperates with his trial, and later receives Death Omen Star power 78 80 107.
  • Suguru Geto — Deceased host whose body supplies Cursed Spirit Manipulation. Geto’s residual bodily resistance briefly interrupts Kenjaku’s control 64.
  • Satoru Gojo — Principal obstacle to his original scheme. Kenjaku seals him, later releases him under Itsuki’s direction, and survives because Gojo chooses to preserve him as a catalyst for stronger opponents 64 79 81.
  • Mahito — Cultivated ally and intended resource. Kenjaku encourages his growth before absorbing him for Idle Transfiguration 73 74 78.
  • Choso — One of his creations and a blood-related parent. Choso despises him for the Death Paintings’ suffering and fights him to protect his brothers 78 81 105.
  • Yuji Itadori — Carefully selected Sukuna vessel. Yuji ultimately attacks Kenjaku in anger over his possession of Kaori’s body 3 105 109.
  • Yuki Tsukumo — Ideological opponent who seeks liberation from cursed energy rather than its optimization. Their conflict culminates in the battle over Tengen 78 104 107.
  • Tengen — Long-standing acquaintance and target of his merger scheme. Kenjaku captures her after surviving Yuki’s final attack 85 107.
  • Noritoshi Kamo — Modern clan heir displaced by Kenjaku’s takeover. Kenjaku dismisses him as harmless and permits him to leave 94.
  • Hajime Kashimo — Ancient sorcerer who accepts transformation into a cursed object to reincarnate and fight Sukuna 109.
