Following the information from the man with the little mustache, Yamato and the other two headed for the summit.
But on the rugged mountain path leading upward...

More than a dozen giant poison scorpions, each as large as a medium-sized tank and clad in metallic, gleaming shells, charged out of the dense woods, waving their pincers.
The one in front thrust its coldly glinting tail stinger straight at Yamato, who led the group.
"Oh? A big one!"
Yamato's eyes lit up. Without dodging, she swung her Kanabo and hit a home run off the incoming stinger.
-Clang!
An enormous metallic crash rang out.
The stinger flew back even faster than it had come, dragging the scorpion's massive body into a backward skid. The tip of its tail was smashed to pieces.
"Page One! Ulti! Keep up!"
Yamato laughed heartily, stamped her right foot, and shot forward like a cannonball, appearing directly before the scorpion in an instant.
-Bam!!
The scorpion's heavy body flew off the ground, its head shell utterly shattered. Fragments and insect fluids sprayed everywhere as it sailed over the woods and smashed through a row of trees. After a few twitches, it went still.
"What even are these things?! I hate bugs!!"
Ulti and Page One were not quite as efficient as Yamato, but they still made short work of the strange creatures, leaving fragments scattered all over the ground.
"Pe-tan~! Come save me~!"
Ulti hopped from side to side. For her, the hardest part of this battle was avoiding the fluids that splashed out when the scorpions burst.
"-Got it-Sis-"
At his sister's call, even with his mask on, the upper half of Page One's face plainly showed the look of someone clocking in for work.
"Hahahaha!"
Yamato did not care about any of that.
