In the skies near Ruluka Island, a vast steel city in Victorian steampunk style cut through the clouds.
It was Titans' mobile fortress, the Mechanical King's flagship, the maglev warship Ashen.
It resembled a giant steel whale forcibly pieced together from countless riveted plates of gray iron armor.
Thick brass steam pipes wound through the gaps in its armor, while enormous Tesla Coils towered above, arcs leaping between their copper rings.
The ship's interior largely matched its exterior style, only with finer details.
Its classical mechanical beauty carried a touch of old-fashioned British science-fiction opera.
Inside the bridge-
A towering dome of glass inset with brass ribs let light spill down from above.
The main structures, including the walls and floors, were still made of alloys in a gray iron and brass color scheme.
After several years of upgrades and modifications, the Ashen had finally taken the needs of living crew members into account. Its interior had become more human-oriented.
At the highest point in the center of the bridge stood the captain's seat.
It was a mechanical throne made primarily of gray iron-colored alloy, decorated with brass gears and pipes.
"Mr. Issho, the Rainbow Mist has indeed appeared ahead of schedule."
On the throne, Babbage's single red eye glimmered. His deep mechanical voice echoed through the bridge.
The main screen displayed Ruluka Island. The island had looked normal until colored mist suddenly began forming along one side.
Dressed in a purple kimono, Issho sat in a guest seat nearby, his cane sword tucked at his waist.
At Babbage's words, he set down his teacup.
"Mr. Babbage, are you certain you want to take such a risk?"
Issho often visited Titans and had dealt with the Mechanical King several times.
He felt that although Babbage was no longer human, his
