Background / History
Village massacre and reincarnation memories
Li Zha grew up in a coastal fishing village. His parents were ordinary people with no innate Soul Power, while he was unusually tall and strong even before awakening. His mother said she had carried him for three years; he used this claim to argue that he was old enough to help his injured father set fishing nets 1 3.
At five, he returned from setting nets to find his village massacred. A black-robed Evil Soul Master disguised as an elderly woman failed to extract his soul and instead attempted to recruit him into the Holy Spirit Cult. Li Zha discovered that her ritual “woodpile” consisted of villagers’ bodies and recognized his father’s distinctive injured finger on the meat she had given him. Leng Yaozhu arrived, destroyed the killer and her Ghost Banner, and freed the trapped souls 1.
Overwhelmed by grief, Li Zha mutilated his arm and required treatment from Rejuvenation Douluo. While unconscious, he recovered memories of his previous life on Earth and recognized his new world as that of Dragon King Legend. He activated the Karma Fire System and resolved to grow stronger and avenge his family 2.
Awakening and early combat training
Leng Yaozhu became his teacher, while Bai Haoze and Bai Zhicen cared for him and supplied the energy-rich food his unusual body required. Six months later, Leng personally conducted his awakening, revealing his twin Martial Souls and exceptional spiritual power 2 3 4.
Li Zha rejected several powerful Soul Spirit candidates because he wanted one balanced in flight, fire, offense, and defense. He ultimately subdued a violent Blazing Flame Dragon with the Lotus Dharma Body and contracted it as his first Soul Spirit 5 6 7.
His first Spirit Ascension Platform visit established both his fighting aptitude and his recklessness. He used a Mandala Snake as spear practice, then exploited a battle between a spider and tiger to defeat both. Leng admired his tactical judgment but worried about his enjoyment of dangerous, potentially self-destructive combat 8 9.
Inheritance, forging, and Na’er
Taiyi Zhenren visited Li Zha in a dream and acknowledged him as Nezha’s inheritor and his own grand-disciple. The Heavenly Court Seed gave Li Zha a long-term goal beyond revenge: creating a heavenly realm, and possibly an Underworld, that might allow him to recover his dead parents. This remained a hope rather than an established resurrection method 10.
Li Zha chose forging over Leng’s preferred profession of mecha design. Master Niu took him as a student after discovering his aptitude, aided by Samadhi True Fire and the Plane Spirit’s guidance. At six, Li Zha completed Hundred Refinement and effectively surpassed Zhen Hua’s record as the youngest first-rank blacksmith; his mentors concealed the achievement 12 13 14 15.
A supposed Holy Spirit Cult assault proved to be a spiritual combat test arranged by Leng and Han Tianyin. Li Zha’s lethal responses impressed Han but strengthened Leng’s concern about his isolation. Na’er subsequently joined his training household, and Li Zha bestowed the East Sea Dragon King tablet on her, transforming her bloodline and weakening her connection to Gu Yue 16 17 18 19.
Graduation and Eastsea City
After three years, Li Zha reached level 29 and passed his forging graduation assessment. His combat test against the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger ended with a wooden-decoy ambush and a heavily stacked spear strike. The resulting breakthrough made him a nine-year-old Soul Elder 20 22 23 24.
He chose Eastsea City for his holiday because he intended to obtain the Golden Dragon King’s power inside Tang Wulin. During the journey, he killed an Evil Soul Master on a train despite the danger to a hostage, prompting Leng to question his disregard for civilian safety 24 27 28.
In Eastsea City, he met Tang Wulin, Gu Yue, and Xie Xie, then killed Guang Long for extorting a food shop. The residents’ gratitude produced incense points. Guang Long’s brother Guang Biao confronted the group, and the ensuing fight pushed Li Zha and Na’er into their first Martial Soul Fusion Skill 29 30 31 32.
Golden Dragon King and platform unrest
With his Dragon Spirit’s help, Li Zha reversed Tang Wulin’s seal, bound the Golden Dragon King remnant, and drew it into the Mountain and River State Diagram. He treated Wulin afterward and cleansed the remaining power with Samadhi True Fire. When Tang San’s divine consciousness attempted to seize his inheritance, Li Zha manifested Taiyi Zhenren inside the diagram and destroyed the invading avatar 36.
After absorbing the Golden Dragon King’s power, Li Zha began gathering the snack street’s incense power and considering Han Tianyin’s proposal to visit Mu Ye for the Lotus Body’s second awakening. No completed second awakening is documented 41 44.
During the Spirit Ascension Platform’s unrest period, he pursued first place by ejecting hundreds of other contestants rather than concentrating on hunting Soul Beasts. He defeated the Dark Eagle Dragon fusion, tortured Tang Wulin during another intervention by Tang San, and provisionally accepted Gu Yue as a nominal disciple. Against the platform’s replacement guardian bear, he gained the Three Heads and Six Arms Form and a rare external Soul Bone 46 48 49 50.
Appearance
Li Zha has fair skin, delicate, feminine features, and bright, captivating eyes. His appearance draws attention from both male and female spectators at the Spirit Ascension Platform 44.
- Unusual early growth: Reaches approximately 1.5 meters by six, but remains around that height three years later 2 3 20.
- Lotus manifestation: His Dharma Body resembles a more mature version of himself seated on a lotus platform 3 4.
- Three Heads and Six Arms Form: Grows to 1.8 meters, with loose hair down his back, fiery red markings extending from his eye corners, three faces, and six arms wielding six Fire-Tipped Spears 50.
Personality
Li Zha initially shows a caring, resourceful nature by secretly setting nets so his injured father can rest. After the massacre, his recovered adult memories help him regain composure, but his grief develops into an uncompromising hatred of Evil Soul Masters 1 2 19.
He combines patience and tactical intelligence with an appetite for violent confrontation. He waits for weakened opponents, trains during live combat, uses decoys, and adapts quickly to unfamiliar abilities. At the same time, he willingly challenges much stronger enemies and enjoys pushing himself toward exhaustion 8 9 16 23 31.
His treatment of enemies can become overtly cruel. He refuses to spare a captured Evil Soul Master, accepts that attacking a hostage-taker could kill the hostage, and later tortures Tang Wulin inside the Spirit Ascension Platform. His hostility toward bullies does not translate into consistent concern for everyone endangered by his actions 27 28 48.
With trusted companions, he is playful, teasing, and capable of tenderness. He appreciates Leng’s support, praises his Dragon Spirit, feeds Na’er her favorite foods, and protects her from Gu Yue. Han Tianyin credits Na’er’s companionship with softening his temperament, although Li Zha remains unaware of her jealousy and conceals important plans and treasures from others 11 12 24 30 40 42.
Abilities & Skills
Lotus Dharma Body
A whole-body Martial Soul embodying Li Zha’s superego—his strongest possible self and the collective expression of his divinity. Leng identifies its quasi-godlike standing as a rank of existence, not equivalent combat strength 4.
- Protects his soul from extraction and grants innate resistance to soul attacks and soul shocks 1 4 5.
- Can activate without producing a visible giant manifestation 8.
- Heightens danger perception, allowing him to detect attacks from outside his direct field of view 8.
- Absorbs surrounding Soul Power to replenish him without preventing movement 9.
- Exerts overwhelming pressure on dragons and dragon-related bloodlines, including the Blazing Flame Dragon, Gu Yue, and Tang Wulin 6 28 40.
Samadhi True Fire
Li Zha’s signature flame surpasses the Douluo Plane’s ultimate-fire standard and can consume energy, including other flames 4.
- Burns through Leng Yaozhu’s ultimate fire and Soul Power during testing 4.
- Clings to wounds and steadily weakens opponents 8.
- Destroys poisonous webs and counters poison-based attacks 9.
- Devours elemental attacks and erodes the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger’s evil aura 23.
- Heats and purifies metal during forging 14.
- Can still be extinguished by a sufficiently overwhelming quantity of Soul Power 4.
Fire-Tipped Spear and spear arts
His weapon Martial Soul is a three-meter spear with three flame-formed points. Taiyi’s manual enables him to progress from improvised fundamentals to linked spear forms 3 10 11.
- Projects Samadhi True Fire and launches at high speed 11 20.
- Splits into two spears for successive attacks 11 20.
- Uses the Blazing Dragon Spirit to retrieve thrown weapons 11.
- Counters dragon-related defenses, including the Guang brothers’ Ironclad Dragon armor 30 32.
| Soul Skill | First Documented Use | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Hundred Slashes Across the Prairie | 8 | Accumulates power through repeated spear attacks, then releases it in a concentrated finishing strike. |
| Flaming Trees and Silver Blossoms | 23 | Creates a phantom flaming tree and fiery ground patterns extending more than ten meters; slows enemies and burns away hostile energy. |
| Prairie-Fire Hundred Thrusts | 24 | Accelerates spear attacks, allowing his first skill’s accumulated damage to build much faster. |
Three Heads and Six Arms Form
The Blazing Dragon Spirit learns Fire Jujube Immortal Power and applies its transformation to Li Zha, covering him in Samadhi True Fire and multiplying his attacking limbs 50.
- Allows six Fire-Tipped Spears to attack simultaneously 50.
- Greatly accelerates the stacking speed of Hundred Slashes Across the Prairie 50.
Martial Soul Fusion Skill
Dragon’s Cry in the Burning Silence: Dragon King’s Lament emerges when Li Zha and Na’er synchronize their spear attacks against Guang Biao 32.
- Combines red and white spear-light amid fire and a silver dragon’s cry 32.
- First manifests under imminent danger; the supplied account does not establish its full effects or later development 32.
Karma Fire System and divine authority
The Karma Fire System supplies Nezha-related divine abilities and treasures in exchange for rewards earned by killing beings with heavy karmic burdens 2.
- Rewards Guang Long’s death with 100 karmic flame points 30.
- Awards 100 incense points when Li Zha’s reputation spreads through the food street 30.
- Treats incense power as energy that can support the creation of a new Divine Realm 30 41.
- Interacts with the Heavenly Court Seed: recipients of bestowed godhood fall under Li Zha’s authority, and points from Evil Soul Masters they kill are credited to him 18.
- Scales his divine treasures with his own power; incense nourishment and eventual godhood can further strengthen them 49.
Other techniques
- God Devourer: A purple flame technique that destroys an Evil Soul Master’s soul while leaving the body alive 27.
- Illusion escape: Avoids Han Tianyin’s spiritual targeting by moving his consciousness into the Mountain and River State Diagram 19.
- Cloud-Gathering Rain-Bringing Art: Teaches this inherited technique to Na’er 24.
- Spellcraft limitation: Initially fails to transform even a stone with the Illusion Technique, despite rapidly mastering spear arts. His Dragon Spirit learns the technique more successfully 11 19.
Forging and cultivation
Li Zha’s strength, spiritual perception, Samadhi True Fire, and the Plane Spirit’s assistance give him exceptional forging potential 13 14 15.
| Milestone | Chapter | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Near-Hundred Refinement on first attempt | 14 | Purifies heavy silver to one-third of its initial size; early random hammering prevents complete success. |
| First-rank blacksmith standard | 15 | Completes Hundred Refinement at six after watching one demonstration; the record is kept secret. |
| Graduation forging assessment passed | 22 | Simultaneously refines blue-bearing copper, titanium gold, and nether iron in under forty minutes; the copper provides 13% Soul Power amplification. |
- Handles a 90-kilogram hammer and delivers over 500 strikes without tiring during his initial assessment 13.
- Enters Deep Meditation on his first attempt after Bai Haoze teaches him an advanced method 11.
- Follows a schedule of meditation, breathing exercises, forging, combat practice, and written learning reports 15.
- Finds mecha-design blueprints overwhelming and chooses forging instead 12.
