The sounds of colliding fists and feet rang through the sky like thunder.
With the enormous Tree of Might as their backdrop, Lin Chen and Turles fought a lightning-fast battle.

"Move, move, move! Get out of here while we have the chance!" Nappa urged the fleeing crowd.
"Lord Nappa, are we really running away?"
"Idiots! Do you think we can fight at that level? Get back to the spaceship!"
From what Nappa had just seen, Linx was clearly stronger than Turles after returning from his five-year disappearance. If they did not escape now, were they supposed to wait until Turles actually lost?

The next instant, Turles suddenly flew upward.
Above him was the canopy of the Tree of Might, with its fruit hanging from the branches beneath it.
The fruit was still somewhat green, clearly not yet ripe.
But even unripe fruit could increase his power level.
Turles could no longer wait for it to ripen. He needed to increase his strength immediately, then kill Linx!
With the fruit almost within reach, Turles could already see victory beckoning. He pictured himself trampling Linx beneath his feet and tormenting him after his power increased.
Seeing the direction Turles was flying, Linx sneered. "Perfect. You're all up in the tree. You can disappear along with it..."

Just then, a deafening explosion erupted near Turles. He turned and saw a cloud of smoke suddenly rising from the place where his mothership was docked.
"Run! Get out of here!"
Inside Turles's mothership, the large Scouter had exploded after detecting energy beyond its limit, triggering a chain reaction throughout the ship.
The survivors screamed as they fled the ship, rushing toward Turles, their only source of reassurance.
But just then, everyone noticed a flash of light beneath the Tree of Might.
Lin Chen, who had now fully entered his Pseudo Super Saiyan form, raised one hand toward the Tree of Might, his hair a purplish black.
He did not use any particular technique. He simply gathered his ki into a green sphere of light and pushed it toward the Tree of Might.
The green sphere was only the size of a basketball, and it did not fly particularly fast. Yet shortly after it burrowed into the Tree of Might, a pillar of light suddenly erupted from the base of the trunk.
The pillar pierced straight through the trunk and shot toward the treetop, finally engulfing Turles and the Saiyan traitors along with it.

Turles's final, desperate scream rang out within the pillar of light.
Amid deep, rolling thunder, the ground shook violently. An apocalyptic wave of energy burst outward, accompanied by dazzling white light that enveloped more than half of Planet Vegeta, with the Tree of Might at its center.
Under that terrifying pressure, Saiyans across the planet fell to their knees, surrendering to the fear in their hearts and believing their end was near.
Yet moments later, the branches of the Tree of Might, which had spread across more than half of Planet Vegeta, suddenly dissolved into golden motes of light.
Like snow, those motes drifted across the entire planet.
The motes were none other than the planet's life energy that the Tree of Might had absorbed!
As that life energy seeped into the earth, the withered land regained its vitality as though nourished by rain, restoring life to everything across Planet Vegeta.
At that moment, Planet Vegeta, which had been on the brink of destruction, was finally reborn!
