The Saiyans' Scouters also functioned as Communicators, but after several attempts, Vegeta found that the screen kept displaying a message saying the signal could not be sent.
A moment later, Vegeta suddenly realized what was happening.
"Damn it! They're jamming the signal!"
"What?" Raditz cried out.
"If the signal's being jammed, does that mean we can't contact your Saiyans?" Yamcha asked.
"I've got it! The Dragon Balls!"
Krillin turned and shouted to Piccolo, "Piccolo, can you contact Kami? Ask him to have Mr. Popo find the Dragon Balls right away! Sorry for the trouble! We can use Shenron to send a message to the Saiyans!"
"Right, that could work!" Piccolo brightened as well and immediately relayed the idea to Kami through telepathy.
Meanwhile, Vegeta and Raditz were utterly confused. "Dragon Balls? What Dragon Balls?"
"The Dragon Balls are treasures on our planet. They can grant any wish!"
After hearing Son Goku explain the Dragon Balls, Vegeta's eyes widened in shock. "What? Something that amazing exists? Then if I wished for Shenron to turn me into a Super Saiyan, could he do it?"
"Keep dreaming. Even Shenron has limits. He can't do anything beyond his power."
After replying, Piccolo turned to Son Goku and the others. "Kami has already sent Mr. Popo to borrow Bulma's Dragon Radar. We need to buy time until the Saiyans from Planet Vegeta arrive to help."
"Heh, buy time? Can we really do that?"
"Come on. How will we know unless we try?"
Son Goku smiled and was the first to head toward the spaceship's landing site.
Meanwhile, at the disc-shaped spaceship's landing site...
