Vegeta held Bulma in his arms, his entire body wreathed in golden flames. He looked remarkably like Son Goku when he became a Super Saiyan, except his hair had not turned gold, instead taking on a faint brown tint.
"Gohan! Krillin!"
Just then, Son Goku caught Krillin and Gohan as well. After making sure they were all right, he turned to Vegeta in astonishment.
"Goku, has Vegeta become a Super Saiyan?" Krillin asked.
"I don't think so? Doesn't he look a little different?" Goku could not be sure either.
Son Gohan said, "Dad, Uncle Vegeta's hair hasn't turned gold!"
Whether Vegeta had actually become a Super Saiyan or not, his ki had unquestionably increased severalfold.
Son Goku could even sense that Vegeta was now stronger than he had been when using the tenfold Kaioken at full power!
Thud!
Setting Bulma on the ground, Vegeta wasted no words. Surrounded by a blazing golden aura, he immediately charged at Abo Kado.
"What's going on with this guy? He's so much stronger than before!"
Bam! Bam! Bam!
The two traded punch after punch, each blow canceling out the other. Countless afterimages appeared across the sky and ground.
Vegeta and Abo Kado became two streaks of light, one gold and one purple. Sometimes they collided, sometimes they tangled together, sending terrifying gusts tearing across the land. Though the spectacle still fell short of Lin Chen and Ginyu's distant battle, it was not far behind.
"Vegeta! Come on! Take down that fat bastard! Ow, that hurts! Be gentle, Krillin!"
On the ground, Bulma had regained consciousness and was cheering Vegeta on while Krillin bandaged her wounds. Just then, Son Goku flew over.
"Krillin, take Bulma and Gohan away first. It's still dangerous here."
"What's wrong? Goku, Vegeta's doing great right now!" Bulma asked
