As Lin Chen's and Cell's auras clashed, everyone around them paled and kept retreating, not daring to come anywhere near.
"What terrifying power. If we hadn't wished for Shenron to reinforce Earth, their auras alone would probably have destroyed it by now, wouldn't they?" Krillin said, his expression grim.
Vegeta looked just as grim, his fists clenched tight.
"Damn it! We've worked so hard. Why is the gap between us and His Majesty still so huge?"
"Vegeta, we can only keep chasing after Big Brother Lin Chen without stopping for even a moment. If we slack off at all, he'll leave us so far behind we won't even see his shadow," Son Goku said solemnly.
"Hmph! I don't need you to remind me!"
Back at the ring, the arena Cell had built had already been reduced to dust by the clash of their auras.
Cell snorted, and a surge of his aura blew all the dust away.
"Lin Chen, there's no need to confine our fight to a ring. From now on, we'll settle this with life and death!"
"Fine," Lin Chen replied calmly.
Seeing how composed he was, Cell sneered. "Hmph! Lin Chen, you're no match for me anymore!"
"That's right. My aura is a little weaker than yours now. But so what?"
Cell gave a cold laugh. "Are you trying to say you understand the power of rules?"
"I watched your fight with that Cell. Yes, those powers of rules of yours were truly miraculous. Even now, I still can't comprehend them. But I've already figured out how to counter them!"
"Oh?"
Suddenly, boundless confidence filled Cell's face.
"I've seen through it all. The power of rules? With absolute strength, I can break through even that, and I'll prove it to you! And now, I possess absolute strength!"
