After settling Majin Buu in, Lin Chen summoned Son Goku and Vegeta the next day.
His intention was to complete one of his remaining choice missions: defeat the Fusion Warrior Vegito and any other Fusion Warrior.
Vegito was easy enough. He had already borrowed the Potara Earrings from the Supreme Kai.
As for the other Fusion Warrior, that was easy to arrange too. Son Goten and Trunks, whom he had also summoned, would provide his second opponent.
"What? Fusion?"
Vegeta looked baffled when he heard Lin Chen's proposal.
"King Linx, what do you mean by fusion?"
Before Lin Chen could explain, Son Goku clapped his hands. "I know! Vegeta, did you forget what I told you before? I learned a special move from the Metamorans. It's called fusion!"
"It lets two people with similar builds and power fuse into one powerful warrior!"
"You mean that?" Vegeta's mouth twitched. He took a step back and looked awkwardly at Lin Chen. "Your Majesty, is the fusion you're talking about really what Kakarot means?"
"More or less. Why? Have you two fused before?" Lin Chen asked.
In this timeline, Son Goku hadn't died during the Cell Games, so to earn Time Points, Lin Chen had once advised him to go train on Planet Metamor.
Just as Lin Chen had arranged, Son Goku had successfully learned the Fusion Technique on Planet Metamor.
Had they already fused once?
But wasn't the fused warrior those two became through the Fusion Technique called Gogeta?
He and Vegito were two different people, so he probably wouldn't count toward completing the mission.
At Lin Chen's question, Vegeta hastily shook his head. "There's no way I'm doing those ridiculous poses! Your Majesty, please don't make me!"
