The scene unfolding in the Ring left the gods gaping.
It was not Lin Chen's strength that shocked them. Rather, in Frieza and Vegeta, they saw the even more terrifying depth of Universe 7's reserves.
That depth was completely at odds with Universe 7's current ranking among the twelve universes.
Just how had Universe 7 produced so many powerful fighters?
Lin Chen was stunned as well. The strength Vegeta and Frieza had revealed already exceeded his expectations.
He reckoned that, at this rate, his divine power might run dry before he even faced Jiren and Son Goku.
Should I switch to Super Saiyan 4 and conserve my divine power?
No. Super Saiyan 4 would be fine against Vegeta or Frieza alone, but if they teamed up, I probably wouldn't have the upper hand without using Super Kaioken.
But Super Kaioken drains stamina.
This is an official tournament, not a fight to the death. I can't use Senzu Beans to recover the stamina I lose.

Lin Chen muttered under his breath.
Just then, another sound of something cutting through the air suddenly rang in his mind.
"Hm?"
Lin Chen turned and saw an enormous energy sphere bearing down on him.
The sphere was astonishingly large, and the energy within it was not to be underestimated.
The wild energy spilling out of it alone turned into bolts of silver lightning that ravaged the Ring.
"Is that a Spirit Bomb?"
Realizing that the energy sphere might actually have enough power to hurt him, Lin Chen was startled.
He glanced over, only to find Son Goku standing to one side with his eyes wide.
He didn't launch that energy sphere?
Then who did?
There was no time to think. With no way left
