Lin Chen and Trunks emerged from two years of training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber just as Bojack and his gang attacked the Resistance Army’s island. Lin Chen took Trunks to the battle, while Bojack’s forces continued killing fleeing civilians and overwhelming Lazuli.

• Lin Chen’s power tore open a space rift in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, then he sparred with Trunks and pushed him to fight.
• Chi-Chi told Bulma that Bojack’s gang had found the Resistance Army’s base and that Lazuli was covering the retreat.
• Master Roshi offered to go help, but Mr. Popo said it was unnecessary when Lin Chen and Trunks emerged from the Lookout.
• Trunks sensed Bojack’s gang near the island, and Lin Chen used Instant Transmission to take him there.
