A ramen meal that left scars for life
Wu Chiwu and his two companions finally made their way to the entrance of Le Yi Ramen Shop.
Without saying a word, he ordered three extra-large bowls of ramen and piled them on the table.
Just as Sasuke raised his chopsticks, something suddenly popped into his head.
He glanced sideways at Wu Chiwu.
"Second brother, do you still have money in your pocket to pay the bill?"
Didn't we just give all the money to the houses in Konoha that were destroyed in the bombing?
What will we eat to fill our stomachs now?
Naruto also perked up his ears and turned to stare at him.
Wu Chiwu touched his blindfold, looking very confident.
"Don't worry, don't worry!"
He reached behind him and pulled out another card from who-knows-where, waving it in front of Sasuke's face.
"Ta-da..."
"I'll steal Itachi's cards to raise you."
Sasuke's heart had been through a lot that morning.
He took a deep breath, his tone eerily calm.
"Does your older brother know about this?"
Wu Chiwu an eyebrow, a smug look playing on his lips.
How could he know?
"With my skills, how could he possibly catch me?"
On the other side.
In front of the monitor, Uchiha Itachi nodded slightly.
I understand, I understand everything.
But that card...
The scene cuts back, and Wu Chiwu and Sasuke have already stopped talking.
The three men stared expressionlessly at the enormous bowl of ramen in front of them.
"We agreed on this." Wu Chiwu said calmly.
The first person to finish the noodles wins.
The winner doesn't have to be punished.
Did you understand?
Sasuke and Naruto nodded emphatically.
"I understand."
This isn't just about who can eat noodles the fastest.
This is a battle of pride; we can't afford to lose.
I don't know how much time passed.
Sasuke and Naruto's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets as they stared at the smiling Wu Chiwu across from them.
How could that be?
It's all dried up.
He looks so thin and slender, he doesn't seem like he can stuff himself like that.
"If you lose, you have to admit it. Don't try to get away with it." Wu Chiwu's lips curled into a wide smile.
Sasuke and Naruto felt a wave of dizziness upon hearing this.
How did I fail again?
Wu Chiwu wasn't worried that the two of them would run away, so he took the card and went to the counter to pay.
Teuchi took the card and stuck it on the machine.
Sorry, I don't have enough balance!
??
Not enough balance?
Did Itachi foresee this?
The free voucher can only be used to benefit one person.
Wu Chiwu for a while, resting his chin on his hand.
He pulled out the free voucher, a smirk playing on his lips.
"Uncle, why don't you make them sell themselves into servitude to pay off their debts?"
"That is..."
Teuchi stood opposite, his eyes widening as he listened, completely bewildered.
After a while, Wu Chiwu strolled back carrying two sets of women's clothing.
"Sasuke, Naruto, it's time to keep your word." Wu Chiwu grinned from ear to ear.
Even though her smile was so bright, it was more terrifying than seeing a ghost to Sasuke and Naruto.
"Now?" they both shouted at the same time.
No way.
"Of course, now, and you also have to..." Wu Chiwu gave a definite answer.
After chasing them around several times, two new female servers, Little Blue and Little Yellow, suddenly appeared in Le Yi Ramen Shop.
The fierce-looking version of Little Blue glares at people with piercing eyes.
The sunny version of Little Yellow smashes all sorts of bottles and jars.
The two of them left behind countless legends about Le Yi Ramen.
Business at the store skyrocketed that day.
It was completely dark when Wu Chiwu and Sasuke started walking home.
Sasuke gritted his teeth and said, "From now on, I won't believe a single word that comes out of your mouth."
Wu Chiwu turned his head and gave him an innocent look.
He felt his performance today was alright.
He's very helpful in resolving people's problems.
He's generous when it comes to treating everyone to a meal.
Very thorough.
Just as I was squinting and pondering, a small stall selling candied hawthorns appeared in front of me.
It's time to show some of my older brother's tenderness.
"Sasuke, your second brother is treating you to candied hawthorns."
Before the words even finished, he grabbed Sasuke and rushed over.
"How much are the candied hawthorns?" Wu Chiwu reached the stall in a few steps.
"This string is ten yuan." The uncle grinned.
"Ten yuan? How can that be so expensive?" Wu Chiwu said calmly.
"The labor cost is high; they even remove all the seeds," the uncle explained cheerfully.
"Oh, I see," Wu Chiwu said frankly.
"Then please put the seeds back in."
Just that one moment.
Apart from Wu Chiwu, the other two were both mute.
In the end.
Wu Chiwu successfully led Sasuke home, along with the string of "satisfied" candied hawthorns in Sasuke.
