Silver ancient characters rose and fell amid the thunderbolts. The Daoist Canons of Northern Thunder appeared here one after another, personally transcribed by Xu Xuan: nine great arts, five divine abilities, and all manner of Thunder Arts secrets passed down directly by Tianpeng.
Of these, only two Dharma Body techniques could truly stir Xu Xuan.
The first was the [Tianpeng Northern Pole Dharma Body], closer to divinity than immortality, an orthodox path of Heavenly Punishment.
The Dharma Body manifested Altar Thunder's aspect of great wrath, clad in black robes and a dark crown, with three heads and six arms holding an axe, bow, sword, bell, halberd, and rope. It resonated with calamities and tribulations, its feet trampling baleful intent and withering-a supreme Dharma Method that directly resonated with the Altar Thunder True Essence!
This Dharma Body technique could even serve as the overarching framework for cultivating the Ancient Immortal Dao. Said to possess the power of [Pacifying the World], it could perfectly accommodate Altar Thunder's five divine abilities and was especially useful to cultivators who sensed clear subtlety and communed with Myriad Calamities. Xu Xuan, however, paid greater attention to another, more primordial Dharma Body technique.
[Clear Subtlety Five Phases Dharma Body]
This Dharma Body was fashioned in the image of the Thunder Ancestor, closer to immortality than divinity. Its emphasis lay in the primordial Great Dao and the true principles of the Five Phases, with a thread of supreme truth within it. In sheer killing power, it naturally fell short of the previous technique, but it was immensely useful for Xu Xuan's comprehension of the Altar Thunder Dao.
This Dharma Body was rather more like witchcraft, using the wonders of creation to affirm oneself. Said to possess the power of [Piercing Truth], it carried something
