Xu Xuan studied the scroll of secret arts alongside Tiantuo. The more he read, the more unfathomably profound it seemed, pointing straight to the Great Dao. But he cultivated "altar thunder," so there was little here for him to study.
Most Dao arts of Yin-Yang were related to the principles of [Wonder and Constancy]. They governed transformation, comparison, and complementary pairing. Thus, one gave birth to two, two gave birth to three, and three gave birth to all things, attaining the Dao through this.
Altar thunder, however, pursued the singularity of ultimate truth, ultimate substance, and ultimate righteousness. As a solitary, suspended Dao, it remained unchanged through the ages and rejected every power that sought to alter it. He put the scripture away, placing it in the pavilion for the time being.
The Dao-Contemplation Hall faintly stirred. The light of victory gold gathered and transformed, gradually manifesting a Dao text-an ancient method of the victory gold Dao.

This treasure scroll described how to cultivate the Dao of "victory gold": purifying one's nature and life, refining an inner elixir, then using it to sense the golden rank and attain the Dao as a True Lord. Naturally, it was a legacy of the ancient Tai Qian lineage.
Xu Xuan had already acquired Tai Ning's entire Dao inheritance. Now that he had obtained Tai Qian's as well, he could be said to have had contact with nearly all the Daos under Immortal Lord Nanhua.
