The Airship was quiet.

Some passengers were sleeping, some were reading newspapers, and others were chatting softly.

Gradually, the clouds outside the window thinned, revealing the terrain below.

Mountains, rivers, and plains slipped past beneath them.

After another two hours of flight, the Airship began to descend.

An announcement sounded. "Ladies and gentlemen, we will soon arrive in Mito City. Please prepare to disembark."

Ponzu sat up straight and began gathering her things.

She tucked the map into her backpack, secured her water bottle, and straightened her hat.

The bees buzzed a few times inside her hat. She patted it, and they quieted down.

The Airship landed at an airport.

The airport was fairly large, with eight landing pads, and reasonably luxurious.

Odin and Ponzu walked down the boarding stairs.

The air was much more humid than around Heavens Arena and carried the scent of vegetation.

The sunshine felt a little hot, but not stifling.

Trees surrounded them, and the outlines of mountains were visible in the distance.

Several taxis were parked outside the airport, their drivers leaning against the doors, smoking and chatting.

One of them waved when he saw Odin and Ponzu emerge.

"Where to?"

Odin walked over. "A nearby inn."

"650 Jenny," the driver said. "Hop in if that works for you."

Odin and Ponzu exchanged a glance, nodded, and climbed straight in.
