"This way," Ponzu said, opening her eyes and pointing.
"Let's go," Odin replied with a nod.
The two headed southeast.
After walking for about an hour, Ponzu suddenly stopped.
She raised her hand, and several bees flew back to land on her fingers.
"We're close," she said. "About five hundred meters ahead."
Odin did not disagree. Through his Nen-enhanced Observation Haki, he could indeed sense two Glassy Giant-vein Dragonflies with two-meter wingspans five hundred meters ahead.
But he also sensed an even larger Glassy Giant-vein Dragonfly farther beyond them.
Odin said nothing and simply followed.
They quickened their pace.
After passing through a patch of shrubs, they came upon an open stretch of water.
It was a small lake, roughly two hundred meters across.
The water was clear, revealing the aquatic plants and fish swimming below.
Dense reeds taller than a person surrounded the lake.
Huge creatures were flying above its surface.
They were Glassy Giant-vein Dragonflies, two in all.
They were much larger than ordinary dragonflies, with wingspans of at least two meters.
Their bodies were translucent green, and their wings shimmered with rainbow colors in the sunlight.
They flew through the air, sometimes hovering, sometimes turning abruptly, changing direction with astonishing speed.
"Glassy Giant-vein Dragonflies," Ponzu whispered, unable to keep the excitement out of her voice. "Two adults!"
Odin watched the two dragonflies, studying their flight paths.
They did not fly in straight lines, but in erratic zigzags.
One moment they shot upward, the next they plunged down, then suddenly made a ninety-degree turn. Their movements followed no pattern at all.
"Their wingspans aren't large enough. Should we keep looking?" Odin asked.
Ponzu frowned as she watched the two dragonflies.
"They're hard to find, and hard to catch," she said. "They fly too fast, and their flight paths
