After putting on the Golden Chelsea boots, Sasuke felt more confident than ever, even without activating their ability.
Inevitably, it went to his head a little again.
"Chidori Blade."
After imbuing the Kusanagi Sword with lightning, Sasuke went after Deidara to cut him down. It was hardly a rational move-as though activating his ultimate had made him lose his mind.
Seeing this, Deidara could only retreat and dodge. This guy was a complete lunatic. Who chased someone around with a sword like that? Was there no justice in the world?
But once Sasuke slashed the explosive clay Deidara threw with the Kusanagi Sword, it became completely inert. That elemental disadvantage was a real pain.
It pushed the mouths on Deidara's hands to the verge of speaking: Seriously, does this ever end? I'm tired of chewing.
But Deidara was still dodging. How could he notice that?
Having fallen deep into the forest, Deidara had little room to maneuver. He could only quickly shape a clay bird and fly into the air, keeping a safe distance.
"No choice. I was saving this move for Itachi." Deidara glanced at Sasuke, steeled himself, and shoved a handful of chewed clay into his mouth.
"You're both Uchiha anyway. I'll kill one of you first."
Sasuke frowned in annoyance when Deidara flew into the air, but Deidara had already finished preparing his ultimate move.
Deidara spat out a gigantic version of himself, which headed straight toward Sasuke.
Seemingly feeling the pressure from the behemoth before him, Sasuke promptly chose to retreat.
"C4 Karura. Detonate!"
But as Sasuke fled, he saw the giant Deidara explode without making a sound.
"A dud?"
"Huh? No, this is bad."
"I win. Art is an explosion! Sublimation!"
The living creatures in the forest simply disintegrated, and Sasuke realized something was wrong.
