With a bang, an enormous Patrick Star appeared, destroying everything around it. Thought Sasuke was done for? No, no, no, that was impossible. Uchiha Sasuke had plot armor; he wouldn't kick the bucket that easily. Otherwise, the whole show would be over.
In the final moments of the explosion, Sasuke's chakra reserves had already run dry. But never underestimate the will to survive. It forced him to squeeze out every last bit of his potential and unleash the Summoning Technique.
A puff of white smoke appeared, and Manda emerged. Before Manda could react, Sasuke pried his mouth open and climbed right inside.
That left Manda completely baffled, but he quickly realized something was wrong. Feeling the heat around him and that terrifying energy, he finally understood what had happened.
He had thought Sasuke was trying to get himself killed by crawling into his mouth. It turned out Sasuke had summoned him to serve as a meat shield.
But Manda had no chance to fight back now. His first priority was staying alive.
A thunderous rumble rang out, and everything nearby vanished. Even Manda returned to Ryūchi Cave, though he still suffered considerable injuries.
Deidara went out with a spectacular bang, thinking he had taken Sasuke down with him. Unfortunately, his opponent refused to play fair, and Sasuke's Snake Substitution had fooled him completely.
A substitution had baited out his ultimate move. Deidara didn't even have anywhere to cry about it, and he couldn't rest in peace. Actually, he probably did-there wasn't even a scrap of him left.
