After Meihui explained what had happened during the Uchiha Clan Massacre, Sasuke looked at Itachi beside him, as though asking whether Meihui had told the truth.
Itachi nodded, and Sasuke fell silent. Itachi spread his arms and waited for death, only for Sasuke to throw himself into his embrace instead. Sasuke sobbed his heart out in Itachi's arms like a child.
"Why? Why? Why? Why didn't you tell me what happened back then? Why did you lie to me?" Sasuke pounded Itachi's chest as he cried.
Naruto was dumbfounded. When had Sasuke ever acted like this? Even Meihui hadn't expected it. He had thought Sasuke would have to struggle with himself for a while before coming to terms with the truth, but Sasuke had seen right through it.
And so the two brothers went on, one accusing and the other apologizing, crying one moment and laughing the next, completely ignoring the other two people beside them. At least they had put their differences behind them.
Watching the brothers, Meihui couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about Sasuke. Sure enough, no sooner had he thought it than Sasuke said, "Since Konoha put you through so much suffering, I'll destroy Konoha."
Meihui slapped his forehead when he heard that. Crap, I forgot about this. What now? Don't panic. He immediately unleashed Kotoamatsumouth: Meihui Edition-The Great Art of Bamboozling.
"Ahem. Uchiha Sasuke, that's the wrong way to look at this."
"Huh? What, haven't you and Naruto been persecuted by Konoha too? Don't stop me. I'm going to avenge you."
"Stop, stop, stop! Staaahp! Uchiha Sasuke, I know you can't stand seeing us suffer and want to get even for us. But I want you to understand who actually did this to us."
Sasuke looked at Meihui, signaling for him to continue.
