Meihui walked alone through the great forests of the Shinobi World, humming a little tune as he swaggered along like he owned the place.

Taking in the scenery as he wandered, Meihui suddenly felt a surge of poetic inspiration. He wanted to recite a poem right then and there.

"Ah, sun, you're so round; forest, you've got so many trees; Meihui, you're so damn handsome."

"Hahaha! I hereby name myself one of the Shinobi World's four great literary talents."

Meihui recited his nonsensical poetry while shamelessly singing his own praises.

"Wait, something's wrong. Where am I? Damn, I think I'm lost."

Meihui looked left, then right. No matter how he looked at it, he felt as though he'd just been here. The directionally challenged Meihui was now seeking emergency assistance.

With no other options, Meihui resorted to the dumbest solution: charging straight ahead.

He wouldn't turn back until he hit a wall. And if he did hit one, he'd just push harder and smash through it.

With sparks and lightning flying all the way, Meihui became a human battering ram and charged forward.

Before he knew it, Meihui had reached a small stream. He stopped at the sight of it, deciding to rest his feet.

Then he heard someone's voice coming from the stream ahead, which piqued his curiosity.

Someone else was out here in this huge forest?

Only when he drew closer did he discover a woman bathing. Well, damn.

Meihui, who had been single since birth, had never seen anything like this. His pea-sized brain overloaded and crashed, leaving him frozen in place.

Perhaps sensing someone watching her, the woman bathing whipped around and saw Meihui standing there stiffly, his eyes vacant and unfocused. If she hadn't noticed the drool already dripping onto the ground, she might actually have believed he was an idiot.

The young woman grabbed her clothes, threw them over herself, and charged at Meihui.

When Meihui snapped out of it, he saw a beautiful woman flying toward him. Instinctively, he spread his arms to catch her.

But when he spotted the kunai in her hand, he decisively chose to dodge instead.

"Hey, you pervert! Don't run! I'll stab you to death!"

"Don't run? Only an idiot wouldn't run!"

Seeing that Meihui still dared to talk back, the girl flew into a rage.

She engaged Meihui in close combat, but soon realized something wasn't right.

"You're a ninja?"

Meihui had hidden his forehead protector before setting out, but there was no hiding his skills.

When experts clashed, a few words or a simple movement were often enough to reveal who was superior.

The longer the girl fought, the more alarmed she became. She realized she couldn't beat Meihui.

"Damn you! You were pretending to be weak!"

Her eyes turned red, revealing her Sharingan.

Meihui froze. This girl actually had the Sharingan.

"How do you have the Sharingan?"

"Oh? You actually recognize the Sharingan. Then I have even more reason not to let you live."

"Hey, isn't this just a misunderstanding? Don't jump straight to fighting and killing. Why don't we sit down and talk about life?"

Her answer was a mass of black flames. Meihui barely dodged it, his heart pounding in fright.

"Amaterasu's black flames... seriously terrifying. You even have the Mangekyō Sharingan."

"Hmm? You seem to know a little too much."

The way the girl looked at Meihui changed.

Her stare made Meihui's skin crawl. He certainly didn't think he was a match for her as he was now.

But if he wanted her to listen to him, he had to make her stop trying to kill him.

Yet even after racking his brains over the original story he'd read, Meihui still couldn't figure out who the girl before him was.

"I'll just have to take a gamble."

Meihui mobilized his chakra, forming a Rasengan that he had converted into a Sealing Jutsu.

Scattering kunai bearing Flying Thunder God marks, Meihui began showing off his footwork against the girl.

Snake-Form Step! Lotus Drift! He stepped back and dodged her attack.

He sealed the girl in place.

"Got you, little miss! Still feeling cocky? Now you can't mobilize any of your chakra. Be good and surrender."

The girl was terrified too. "What are you going to do to me? Stay away!"

Seeing that he'd frightened the poor girl to tears, Meihui softened and released her.

Unexpectedly, she immediately sent him into an illusion space with Tsukuyomi.

Meihui was utterly bewildered...
