Meihui was dragged into the Tsukuyomi World in bewilderment, the girl's Mangekyō Sharingan gleaming with an uncanny red light.

When Meihui regained awareness, he found himself strung up on a pillar in the Tsukuyomi Space. The Uchiha girl stood across from him, arms folded, watching him coldly.

"Ahem, um, miss, isn't there some kind of misunderstanding here?"

Realizing he couldn't beat her, Meihui immediately backed down, showing absolutely no shame about saving his own skin.

"Hmph, a misunderstanding? I don't see what misunderstanding there could be between us."

Seeing that he didn't even have a chance to negotiate, Meihui simply gave up. Whatever happened, happened.

The girl picked up a kunai and thrust it at Meihui, but he had already stopped struggling.

Am I going to die? I've never even had a girlfriend. I haven't fulfilled my mission. There are still so many things I haven't done.

Memories of the past, all those little moments, flashed through his mind, filling his heart with reluctance to let go.

Fate was just that unfair, but it seemed his story wasn't over yet.

The Uchiha girl stopped her attack and released Meihui from the Tsukuyomi Space.

Perhaps it was an ability of her Mangekyō Sharingan, or perhaps she couldn't bring herself to do it. Either way, she let Meihui go.

She walked away without another word, leaving Meihui frozen in place.

After a moment's thought, he chased after her. She ran, he pursued-surely she couldn't escape him even with wings.

But in a moment of distraction, Meihui realized he had lost her.

"Hey, where are you? What's your name? Thanks for sparing my life! My name is Meihui Uzumaki..."

Hidden in the shadows, the girl smiled with her lips pressed together, then left.

"Meihui Uzumaki, huh..."

Meihui knew he wouldn't be able to find the girl now. One thing he could be sure of was that she definitely wasn't one of Madara Uchiha's people, and there was something about her that felt strange to him.

But with her trail gone, Meihui had no idea where to look, so he could only give up.

It took quite a while for Meihui to collect himself.

"Wait, where the hell am I now? Seriously?"

With no other options, Meihui had to declare this plan a failure.

He sensed around briefly, located the Flying Thunder God mark in his home, and teleported straight back.

When Meihui arrived home, he found Naruto wasn't there. He was probably out training with Sasuke.

After thinking it over, Meihui decided to go find the two of them.

But on second thought, he decided to stay home and wait for Naruto to return.

Before leaving, Meihui had left Naruto a Shadow Clone. The Shadow Clone currently out there was probably one Naruto had summoned.

"If I rush out to find Naruto now, someone might notice me. Better forget it."

With that, Meihui put a barrier around his room and went to bed.

Before he knew it, he had fallen into a deep sleep. In his haze, Meihui arrived at the place where the Nine-Tails was sealed.

The room was dim, with standing water covering his feet. Within a massive cage in the enormous chamber, a pair of scarlet eyes with slit pupils appeared, brimming with brutality, malice, rage, resentment, hatred...

"Hey, brat. I don't think this is somewhere you belong."

Before the Nine-Tails could finish speaking, Meihui was already growing impatient.

"Nine-Tails, you're too noisy."

"You little brat! Is that any way to speak to me?"

Meihui wasn't about to indulge the Nine-Tails. He flung a Sealing Jutsu straight at the beast, strengthening the seal and leaving the Nine-Tails to howl impotently.

Meihui then left the Sealing Space.

Still groggy, Meihui fell asleep, never noticing when Naruto came home.
