Urashiki Otsutsuki had originally accompanied Momoshiki and Kinshiki Otsutsuki to Earth in search of the traitor Kaguya. Once they learned of the existence of Tailed Beasts and Jinchūriki, they planned to collect the Tailed Beasts inside the Jinchūriki, plant the God Tree anew, and make it bear fruit again.
Unfortunately, Kinshiki and Momoshiki had clearly bitten off more than they could chew. Meihui and the others had taken them out outright. Once Urashiki sensed that Momoshiki and Kinshiki's presences had vanished completely...
"Their presences are both gone. Are the natives here really that strong?"
Urashiki was puzzled. Kinshiki and Momoshiki were hardly weak, yet they had somehow met their downfall here, wiped out by the natives.
Urashiki tightened his grip on his fishing rod and successfully reeled in another big fish.
Looking at the several big fish in his basket, Urashiki was thoroughly satisfied. He stood up and stretched.
"All right, I've had enough fun. Time to go find those Jinchūriki or whatever they're called."
As it turned out, Urashiki had set off to find other Jinchūriki on the day Momoshiki and Kinshiki left. Along the way, however, he had encountered an old man sitting beside the water, fishing with something that looked much like his own weapon.
The sight had infuriated Urashiki. To him, a fishing rod was sacred, and that old man was simply wasting its potential.
In a rage, Urashiki had rushed over and snatched the fishing rod straight out of the old man's hands.
"You old geezer! Who do you think you are, using the same weapon as me?"
"A weapon? Haha, young man, that just shows how little you know. I'm fishing-angling, as it's commonly called. I doubt you understand the joy of it."
The old man cheerfully explained it to Urashiki. He was neither
