Boro stared at Meihui in front of him, dumbfounded. Hadn't he just been holding that idiot kid?
How had he suddenly turned into someone else?
While Boro was still puzzling over it, Meihui had already made his move.
Since he had only swapped places with Konohamaru, Boro was still holding him.
Meihui delivered a flying kick, sending Boro hurtling backward like a kite with a snapped string. Boro only barely managed to stop himself by using his hands as brakes.
By the time Boro stopped, his hands had practically been ground off.
Even a minor disabling injury like that healed completely in the space of a breath.
Watching Boro's absurd regenerative ability gave Meihui a headache. Why was he so much like a certain Wolverine from a certain Marvel franchise? So he just wouldn't die, huh?
Meihui thought for a moment, then chakra began spinning in his hand. At the center of the spiral were densely packed lines of text, ancient and obscure...
Once the text filled a third of the Rasengan, it spun in Meihui's palm like a glass marble partly filled with black ink.
"What should I call this move? Got it. Rasengan Sealing."
The instant the ink-black Rasengan touched Boro, it punched straight through his chest.
The inked characters scattered at once, spreading from Boro's chest across his entire body.
Once the ink-black characters covered his body, they locked his limbs in place, leaving him unable to move.
Boro realized he couldn't move and tried to free himself by severing his limbs and regenerating them. But his attempts only left him terrified, because he discovered he had completely lost control of his limbs, torso, and the rest of his body.
Boro wasn't laughing anymore. He behaved himself, and the intelligence that had given him the upper hand
