Meihui won his match with ease. Then the names on the arena's big screen began cycling again, finally stopping on Naruto and Kiba Inuzuka. Naruto grew excited when he saw that he had been picked.
"Big bro, I'm up! Watch me pull off something awesome." Naruto flashed his pearly whites, gave Meihui a huge grin, and rushed straight down.
Seeing Naruto head down, Kiba Inuzuka hurried after him, and the two arrived in the arena.
"Both contestants, please get ready. Begin!"
"Naruto, we might be good friends, but I won't hold back in this match. Watch out."
"Believe it, Kiba! I'm going all out too."
Neither wasted any more words. They went straight at each other.
They traded punches, while Akamaru occasionally pitched in by biting Naruto on the butt.
Naruto was left speechless. We're fighting each other, so why does your dog keep taking bites out of me? He really had no words for it.
"Referee, he's cheating! How come he gets to bring a pet into the arena?"
Hearing this, Gekko Hayate immediately explained.
"He isn't breaking the rules. A ninja dog is a ninja's partner, so this isn't cheating."
After hearing Gekko Hayate's explanation, Naruto stopped arguing.
He tangled with Kiba again, muttering as he fought.
"You bastard, calling in another guy-ptooey, ptooey, I mean another dog. Damn it, I'll beat you to death."
Thanks to Meihui's cultural influence, Naruto was no longer the Naruto he once was. If the old Naruto had been a social butterfly, the current Naruto was a social beast.
"Akamaru, use that move! Ninja Art: Human Mimicry!" Kiba tossed Akamaru a food pill as he spoke, and Akamaru instantly turned into a little red dog.
"Woof, woof, woof!"
After a puff of smoke, two Kibas appeared in the arena, one standing on the other's back.
Naruto stared in bewilderment. Had the human turned into a dog, or had the dog turned into a human?
"Whether you turned into a human or a dog, you're finished today. I said it, and even Jesus can't save you."
After delivering his threat, Naruto created a huge number of Shadow Clones and unleashed a human-wave attack on Kiba.
"Fang Over Fang!" The two Kibas spun at high speed, forming spirals that smashed through all of Naruto's Shadow Clones in the arena.
"Huh? A whirlwind venomous dragon drill?" Meihui sprang to his feet at the sight of Kiba's move. That was vicious.
Meihui continued marveling in the stands, completely ignoring Naruto, who was screaming as he was chased around the arena.
Naruto ran ahead, with the two Kibas pursuing him. He ran, they chased, and he couldn't have escaped even with wings.
"Help! Murder! There are two dogs chasing me!" Naruto's words annoyed Kiba. What did he mean, two dogs?
Irritated, Kiba chased him even harder.
He had no idea he had already fallen into Naruto's trap.
The best hunters often appeared as prey. Naruto was no longer the boy he used to be. Now he was clever as hell.
Once Kiba's Fang Over Fang had spun for a while, it stopped. Suddenly, a Naruto burst out of the ground and punched Kiba. Already dazed from all that spinning, Kiba was knocked senseless by the blow.
It took Kiba quite some time to recover, while Akamaru watched his partner anxiously.
After the pair had rested a little and were about to resume the fight, Naruto stopped in front of Kiba with a spinning sphere in his hand. Feeling the threat radiating from the jutsu before him, Kiba sighed.
"I surrender."
Naruto wasn't about to show mercy. After all, his big brother Meihui had taught him to finish an enemy off while he was down.
Hearing Kiba surrender, Naruto withdrew his jutsu, and Gekko Hayate immediately declared him the winner of the match.
