When Meihui entered the kitchen and found Shizuku with soot all over her face and a pot still smoking, he had a pretty good idea of what had happened.
"Shizuku, why don't you head outside and let me handle this?" Seeing her like that, Meihui couldn't let her stay in the kitchen. Who knew what she might end up making next?
He didn't want to be poisoned, after all. Shizuku's cooking always turned into an unidentified black mass that looked impossible to swallow. Meihui could only chase her out of the kitchen and cook himself.
What was wrong with a man having a hobby? A man who could cook could fill your stomach and warm your heart.
