"What did you say?" The Galactic King thought he had misheard.

Jaco repeated himself. "Galactic Prison has been breached, and all the criminals have escaped. The prison has now fallen."

"Who would dare invade Galactic Prison?!" The Galactic King's tentacles trembled incessantly, betraying his shock.

"The Heeters Brothers."

"Elec and his brother? Of course. They've always harbored sinister ambitions. They've been acting brazenly for decades, constantly testing the Galactic Patrol's limits. Now they've finally made their move."

"Exactly. Your Majesty, this probably isn't the time to discuss that. Let's get out of here," Jaco urged.

A wise man never stood beneath a crumbling wall.

When things looked bad, running was the best option.

"No, Jaco. How could the Galactic Patrol fear the likes of the Heeters Brothers? We must strike back and show them what we're made of."

"B-but things are different now. They seem to have gotten much stronger. We can't take them head-on."

"Don't build them up and tear us down. Relay my orders: summon every patrolman, apprehend the Heeters Brothers, and throw every escaped criminal back into Galactic Hell!"

The Galactic King's tone brooked no argument.

They were just the Heeters Brothers. Surely they couldn't turn everything upside down. He refused to believe it.

There was no reason they couldn't handle a pair who had lived under the Galactic Patrol's thumb for decades.

"Well... all right." Jaco looked utterly dejected. He planned to relay the orders, then quietly slip away from this mess.

"By the way, where is Officer Merus?" the Galactic King asked.

"Officer Merus left on a mission this morning. He hasn't returned yet."

"Ah, then tell him to come back immediately."

Only upon hearing that Merus was absent did the Galactic King begin to panic.

"Yes, sir." Jaco bowed and turned to leave, ready
