The inscription said that the Stone Tablet was the key to a certain kingdom's forbidden grounds, and that kingdom had fallen centuries ago.
Its last surviving clansmen had entrusted the Hayate Clan with making the Stone Tablet to ensure that their kingdom's civilization would not vanish completely into the river of history.
The reason for their extermination seemed to be their refusal to accept the overtures of other royal families. Their kingdom also possessed a highly advanced technology that those royal families coveted.

After reading the passage, Yechen concluded that a kingdom had once existed here, one that had refused to join the royal
