Shisui grew serious at those words. To him, Konoha was everything. Even if Lord Ziyan, the man standing before him who had trained him, threatened Konoha, he would attack Hatake Ziyan without hesitation, even knowing he was no match for him!
The news that enemies were hiding in Konoha made Shisui frown deeply.
"I've already explained the details to Hiashi. Once you're dismissed, go discuss it with him. I have only one requirement: no matter what, for this entire month, every blade of grass and every tree in Konoha must be under your surveillance! Make sure you root out these hidden vermin! This mission is classified as S-Rank!" Hatake Ziyan said.
"We'll complete the mission without fail!" Shisui immediately replied.
"All right! Dismissed! I'll go see Minato and let him know about this!" Hatake Ziyan told everyone after finishing his instructions.
Shisui thought, My dear Lord Ziyan, you've made such a big production of this, yet you haven't even told the Hokage about something as serious as monitoring all of Konoha? Aren't you handing out assignments a little too early?
Hatake Ziyan paid no attention to what those before him might be thinking. He turned and left!
The Hokage Office, inside the Hokage Building.
"Minato, there's something I want to discuss with you!" Hatake Ziyan pushed open the Hokage Office door and addressed Minato, who was reviewing documents.
Minato took no offense at Hatake Ziyan barging straight in. He set down the documents, looked up, and asked, "Lord Ziyan, what is it?"
"It's nothing major, really. I just want the Hyuga Clan to monitor all of Konoha for a month!" Hatake Ziyan sat across from Minato Namikaze and spoke casually.
"What?" Minato Namikaze shot to his feet, staring at Hatake Ziyan in shock.
"Monitor Konoha for a month! What's
