After Yi Xiu injured her for escaping a trial formation by a clever shortcut, Su Jiu was left recovering and considering how to improve her cultivation.

• Su Jiu rescued disciples from a Ya Beast, uncovered how three seniors had baited it with spirit stones, and sold the beast to Fang Hao.
• Su Jiu joined Zhou Xing’s group, helped kill a Two-Headed Python, and later defeated a demonic cultivator who had been luring disciples into his cave through Yu Yin.
